About The Scheme

• Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana has been started by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
• Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana is being operated by the Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department.
• It has been started by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 2006.
• To provide financial assistance for marriage of destitute/poor family girls/widows/abandoned.
• The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the needy girls/widows/abandoned sisters at the time of their marriage.
• Under the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, the following benefits will be given to the eligible person :-
  • At the time of marriage, Rs 50,000/- is given in the account of the Girl.
  • 6000/- rupees are provided for organizing mass marriage programs.
• The following categories of citizens are eligible for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The age of the girl should not be less than 18 years and the age of the groom should not be less than 21 years.
  • Abandoned women who are destitute and are not financially capable of remarrying themselves.
  • The girl's name should be registered on the overall portal.
  • Are living below poverty line.
• Eligible persons can take advantage of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana by applying in the following way :-
  • Through offline application form.
  • Through online application form.

Benefits

• Under the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, the following benefits will be given to the eligible person :-
  • At the time of marriage, Rs 50,000/- is given in the account of the Girl.

Eligibility

• The following categories of citizens are eligible for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The age of the girl should not be less than 18 years and the age of the groom should not be less than 21 years.
  • Abandoned women who are destitute and are not financially capable of remarrying themselves.
  • The girl's name should be registered on the overall portal.
  • Are living below poverty line.
  • Abandoned women who are legally divorced.
  • In case of single marriage, the benefit of the scheme will not be available.

Documents Required

• To take advantage of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, it is mandatory to have the following documents :-
  • Aadhaar card of the applicant.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Income certificate.
  • Age certificate of the girl child.
  • Address proof.
  • Overall code.
  • BPL Card.
  • Passport size photo of bride.
  • Passport size photo of bride's groom.
