Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is the major agricultural welfare scheme of Madhya Pradesh Government, which was started on 25-10-2023.
• The main objective behind launching Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is to increase the annual income of farmers of the state.
• The Department of Revenue of Madhya Pradesh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is also known by some other names such as "MP Chief Minister Farmer Welfare Scheme" or "Madhya Pradesh Financial Assistance Scheme for Farmers".
• At present, Government of India is providing yearly financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- in 3 equal installments to farmers under Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Walking on the same footsteps, the Government of Madhya Pradesh will also provide yearly financial assistance to farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
• In the initial phase of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, Madhya Pradesh Government provides annual financial assistance of Rs. 4,000/- in 2 equal installment.
• But from 2023, the Government increases this amount and now the financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- per year is provided to farmers under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
• This financial assistance will be provided in three equal installment of Rs. 2,000/- each.
• Now the annual income of farmers of Madhya Pradesh increased to Rs. 12,000/- per year.
• In recent times, the Madhya Pradesh government have launched various scheme for state farmers such as : -
  • Chief Minister Krishak Jeevan Kalyan Yojana.
  • Madhya Pradesh Rani Durgawati Shri Anna Protsahan Yojana.
• Government of Madhya Pradesh credited Rs. 1,700 Crore in the bank account of 82 Lakh Farmers in this scheme.
• Beneficiary farmers have to contact their area's patwari in order to avail the benefit of Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
• Farmers can also check the Application Status of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana on SARA Portal.
• Aadhar Number, Bank Account Number of PM Kisan ID is needed to check the Amount Status of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
• Other than that, Farmers can also check their names in the Eligible Farmers list of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

Scheme Benefits

• The Madhya Pradesh government offered the following benefits under its Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana :-
  • The Annual Financial Assistance of Rs. 6,000/-.
  • Assistance will be credited to farmers bank accounts in three equal installments.
  • First installment will be credited between April - July, Second between August - November, and third between December- March.

Eligibility Requirements

• Farmer should be a Permanent Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Farmers should have an Agricultural Field.
• Farmers should be Registered in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

• Registration Number of Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Details of Bank Account.
• Aadhar Card.
• Document Related to Agricultural Field.
• Any One Document for Proof of Residence :-
  • Domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Electricity Bill.

Steps to Apply

• Eligible Farmers can apply for yearly financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- through Offline Application Form of Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
• Only those farmers are eligible to apply who are already availing the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
• Application Form of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is available with patwari of that area.
• Fill the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana Application Form and attach all the required documents with it.
• Submit the Application Form along with all the documents to patwari.
• Patwari will match the details of farmers with the details mentioned on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Portal.
• The list of eligible farmers will be made by patwari after verification.
• List of Eligible Farmers under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana will be then sent to the Department of Revenue for final approval.
• After final approval, the financial assistance of 6,000/- will be transferred in the bank account of the farmer in three equal installments.
• Application under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana will not be entertained if applied in other tehsil.
• Farmers can check the Status of their Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana Amount.

• Only those farmers are eligible for Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana of Madhya Pradesh Government who are already taking benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Having an Agricultural Field is mandatory in order to take the benefit of the scheme.
• Patwari will upload the details of all eligible farmers on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Portal.
• Patwari will also cross check and match the details of farmers with the details mentioned in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Portal.
• Information of every step will be sent to farmers on their mobile number.
• Financial Assistance of 6,000/- under Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana will be provided to farmers in three installments.
• Each installment is of Rs. 3,000/- each.
• If farmers face any problem regarding Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, then they may take the help of their area's patwari.
