Scheme Benefits

• Under the Karnataka Stipend to LAW Graduates scheme, the state government will provide the following benefits : -
  • A monthly stipend to SC/ST LAW Graduates students.

Eligibility Requirements

• To avail of monthly stipend of Rs 5,000/- under the Stipend to LAW Graduates Scheme beneficiary must meet the following eligibility guidelines : -
  • Beneficiaries must be a domiciled residents of Karnataka.
  • The applicant must belong to either Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Category.
  • The applicant must have completed a LAW degree from a State or Central recognized University or institution.
  • The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must be less than Rs 2 lakh.
  • The maximum age of the applicants should not exceed 40 years.
  • LAW Course duration should be either 3 or 5 years.
