Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Scheme

Introduction

• Madhya Pradesh Government started Gaon Ki Beti Scheme for the welfare of Girl Students residing in Rural Area.
• It was launched in the year 2005.
• The main objective behind starting Gaon Ki Beti Scheme is to encourage Rural Area Girls to pursue Higher Education after completing Class 12th from their Village Schools.
• Higher Education Department of Government of Madhya Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Yojana".
• Under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme, Madhya Pradesh Government will provide scholarship to those Girls Students who are a residents of Rural Area and Passed their Class 12th from their Village School.
• It is mandatory for Girl Students to secure 60% or more marks in their Class 12th in order to get scholarship for higher education.
• Scholarship under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme will only provided to those Girl Students who take admission in any Government/ Private College or University in any Graduation Course.
• Madhya Pradesh Government will provide the following scholarship to all eligible Girl Students under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme :-

  Course	Scholarship Amount
  Technical. Medical.	Rs. 7,500/- per Year i.e. Rs. 750/- per Month for 10 Months.
  Any Other Graduation Course	Rs. 5,000/- per Year i.e. Rs. 500/- per Month for 10 Months.

• Department Official will also take approval from the Principal of College/ University in which the Girl Student is currently studying.
• Higher Department sought for Fresh Application from all Eligible Girl Students who take admission in Graduation in the Year 2022-2023.
• All Girl Students who take admission in Graduation in the Year 2022-2023 can apply for Scholarship under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme.
• Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Scheme Online Application Form is available at State Scholarship Portal of Madhya Pradesh Government.
• Girl Students of 2023-2024 will have to wait little bit more to apply for scholarship in Gaon Ki Beti Scheme.
• Department of Higher Education will soon release the notification for Gao Ki Beti Scholarship for the year 2023-2024.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following financial assistance as a scholarship will be provided to Class 12th Passed Girl Students under Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Scheme :-
  • Rs. 7,500/- per Year i.e. Rs. 750/- per Month for Technical and Medical Course Girl Student.
  • Rs. 5,000/- per Year i.e. Rs. 500/- per Month for Other Graduation Course Girl Student.

Eligibility

• Madhya Pradesh Government sets the following Eligibility Criteria to avail the benefit of scholarship under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme :-
  • Girl Student should be a Permanent Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Girl Student should secure 60% or above marks in Class 12th.
  • Girl Student should be residing in Rural Area of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Girl Student should be Studying in Technical, Medical or Any Graduation Course.

• The following documents is essentially required at the time of applying for Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Scheme :-
  • Madhya Pradesh Rural Residence Certificate.
  • SAMAGRA ID.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • BPL Certificate.
  • Marksheet of Class 10th and 12th.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Birth Certificate. (If Available)
  • Mobile Number.
  • Email ID.

How to Apply

• Girl Students can apply for scholarship for higher education under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme through by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Madhya Pradesh Gaon Ki Beti Scheme is available at Madhya Pradesh Government's State Scholarship Portal.
• Registration is must for every Girl Student.
• State Scholarship Portal will send the User Name and Password to Girl Student Mobile Number or Email.
• Login on the portal with the received Password and User Name.
• Choose Madhya Pradesh Gao Ki Beti Scheme from the Scheme List after Log In.
• Fill the below mentioned details in the Application Form of Gaon Ki Beti Scheme :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Education Related Details.
  • Bank Account Details.
• Now upload all the mandatory documents on the portal.
• Submit the Online Application Form of Gaon Ki Beti Scheme by Clicking on Submit Button.
• Submitted Gaon Ki Beti Scheme Application Form along with all the documents will be scrutinized by the Department of Higher Education Officials.
• Approval from the Principal of College/ University in which Girl Student is studying is mandatory to take before sanctioning of scholarship amount.
• After verification, the annual scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per Year and Rs. 7,500/- per Year for Technical and Medical Course Girl Student under Gaon Ki Beti Scheme will be transferred in the bank account.
