Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme

Introduction

• Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme is the major welfare scheme of Madhya Pradesh Government for Girl Students.
• It was started in the year 2008.
• The main objective behind launching Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme is to encourage poor girls residing in Urban Area for Higher Education.
• Department of Higher Education of Madhya Pradesh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme was basically started for poor girl students who are residing in Urban Areas of Madhya Pradesh and interested to continue their studies after passing class 12th.
• Every Eligible Girl Student will get yearly financial assistance as a scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per year i.e. Rs. 500/- per month for 10 Months.
• Only those Girl Students are eligible for Scholarship under Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme who scored more than 60% marks in Class 12th Examination.
• It is mandatory to take admission in any college or university after passing class 12th.
• Right Now, Government of Madhya Pradesh is accepting the Application of Pratibha Kiran Scholarship for the year 2022-2023.
• The last date to apply for scholarship under Madhya Praesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme is 10-09-2023.
• Eligible Girls Students will apply for scholarship by filling Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme Online Application Form which is available at State Scholarship Portal.
• Girl Students who want to avail the benefit of Pratibha Kiran Scholarship for the year 2023-2024 will have to wait little more.
• Very Soon, the application form of Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme for the year 2023-2024 will accepted by Madhya Pradesh Government.

Benefits of Scheme

• The below mentioned scholarship will be provided to Class 12th Passed Girl Students under Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme :-
  • Rs. 500/- per Month for 10 Months i.e. Rs. 5,000/- per Year.

Eligibility

• Government of Madhya Pradesh sets the following Eligibility Conditions to avail the benefit of Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme :-
  • Girl Student should be a Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Girl Student should secure 60% or above marks in Class 12th Examination.
  • Girl Student should be residing in Urban Area of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Family of Girl Student should be belong to BPL Category.
  • Girl should be Studying in any Graduation Course.

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of applying for Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme :-
  • Samagra ID.
  • Madhya Pradesh Urban Residence Certificate.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • BPL Certificate.
  • Marksheet of Class 12th.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Birth Certificate. (If Available)
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)

How to Apply

• Eligible Girl Student can avail the benefit of scholarship under Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme is available at State Scholarship Portal of Madhya Pradesh Government.
• Girl Student has to Register Herself first on the State Scholarship Portal.
• Login with the received User Name and Password after Registration.
• Choose Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme after Logging In.
• Fill all the required details in the Application Form.
• Upload all the essential documents on the portal.
• Click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form after uploading all the documents.
• Officials from the Department of Higher Education will verify the received application form and documents.
• Approval from the Principal of College/ University in which Girl Student is studying is needed before sanctioning of scholarship.
• After all the verification, the financial assistance as a scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per year under Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme will be transferred in the given bank account details of Girl Students.
