Maharashtra Ramai Awas Yojana

Introduction

• Ramai Awas Yojana has been launched by the Maharashtra state Government.
• Ramai Awas Yojana is also known as "Ramai Awas Garkul Yojana".
• This scheme was implemented by the Social Justice and Special assistance Department.
• Only economically weak schedule cast people will get the benefit of the scheme.
• The benefit of Garkul yojana will be provided to the economically weaker peoples of the state some following :-
  • Schedule caste.
  • Tribes.
  • Neo-Buddhist category citizens.
• Garkul Yojana has been started by the government of Maharashtra for the development of the backward class citizens and to provide them better housing facility.
• The standard of living of Scheduled caste and Neo-Buddhist citizen of the state and improve their quality of life .
• Under this scheme providing housing to poor people in the state, Who can not get their own house.
• If the people of the state want to get their own house then they have apply under this scheme.
• Under this scheme Government of Maharashtra has provided 1.5 lakh houses for Urban area peoples.
• Minimum for 25,000 houses will be provided for the Matang community under Ramai Awas Yojana.

Benefits

• Free of cost houses provide under this scheme.
• The poor families of the state will get their own fixed house.
• Government of Maharashtra has provided 1.5 lakh houses in the Urban area under this scheme.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state and must have been living in the state of Maharashtra for 15 years.
• The beneficiary must belong to the below poverty line .
• Beneficiary should have is Own land.
• Only economically weak schedule cast people like some Following:-
  • Poor citizens belong to Schedule cast.
  • Tribe.
  • Neo-Buddhist category.
• The annual income limit of the applicant family under this scheme will be as follows :-

  Areas	Annual Income
  Rural area	Rs 1.20 lakh
  Municipal area	Rs 1.59 lakh
  Mumbai Metropolitan area	Rs 2 lakh

• Residence of the state.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Cast certificate.
• Income certificate.
• Passport size photo.
• Mobile number.

How to Apply

• Maharashtra government launched Ramai Awas Yojana on 2023.
• No guideline has been issued by the government for this scheme .
