Introduction

  • The Tribal Development Department launched in 2012-13 under the Tribal Welfare Committee.
  • The State and Central Government has implement many schemes to welfare of the backward classes by the Tribal Development.
  • Aadim Awas Yojana is also Known as ''Aadim Jamati Gharkul Yojana".
  • The state of Maharashtra has 45 scheduled Tribes which mainly are included :-
    • Bhil.
    • Gond.
    • Koli Mahadev.
    • Pavara.
  • Tribal household without house or living in Katcha house can apply for the benefit under the scheme.
  • Under these scheme Maharashtra state government provide good built houses to poor adivasi families.
  • For the welfare of the backward class, Tribal Development Department project has been built by the State and Central Government in the following state:-
    • Thane.
    • Nashik.
    • Amravati.
    • Nagpur.
  • In the financial year 2023-24, a budget of Rs 12655.00 core has been given for the Tribal Development Department.
  • Under this scheme the state government providing free of cost houses for all Schedule Tribe or Adivasi Community
  • There will be preference to widows in this scheme.
  • Under this scheme The house size is minimum 269 sq.ft.
  • Under MNREGA unskilled person can work in it till his 90 days are over.
  • All Payment through DBT to beneficiaries Bank will be Or Post office accounts registered in Awaas soft MIS.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state and must have been living in the state of Maharashtra for 15 years.
  • Beneficiary should belong to Schedule Tribe or Adivasi Community.
  • Beneficiary should not have his own house.
  • Annual Income of beneficiary should not be more than Rs.1.20 lakh.
  • He has piece of land of his own or given by government.

  • Income Certificate.
  • Address proof.
  • Land Document.
  • Bank Account.
  • Mobile Number.

How to apply

  • Maharashtra Government launched Aadim Awas Yojana in 2012-13.
