Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme is the social security scheme of Government of Uttarakhand.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide monthly financial assistance to those old age beneficiaries who are not able to earn due to their old age.
• Department of Social Welfare of Uttarakhand Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Uttarakhand Financial Assistance Scheme for Senior Citizens".
• Uttarakhand Government will provide monthly pension to all old age beneficiaries under Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per Month will be provided under Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme.
• People having 60 years or above age are eligible to get monthly pension under this scheme.
• The bar set by Uttarakhand Government regarding Annual Income of Beneficiary is Rs. 48,000/- per Month.
• Beneficiaries belongs to BPL Category are also eligible for monthly pension under Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Both Online and Offline Application Procedures are available to apply for monthly pension scheme.
• Beneficiary can apply for pension by filling Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme which is available on 2 portals of Uttarakhand Government :-
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
• Beneficiary can choose the portal as per their ease and apply for monthly pension.
• Apart from that, Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme is also available at District Social Welfare Office.

Benefits

• The following monthly pension will be provided to beneficiaries under Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme :-
  • Rs. 1,500/- per Month.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand.
• The Age of Beneficiary should be 60 Years or Above.
• The Annual Family Income of Beneficiary should be less than Rs. 48,000/- OR Should be belong to BPL Category.

• Documents Related to Age Proof.
• Copy of Family Register.
• Bank Account Details.

Online Application Process

• Old Age Pension Beneficiary will apply for monthly pension through Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme is available at below mentioned portals of Uttarakhand Government :-
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
• Beneficiary has to do Registration First by mentioning basic personal details.
• After Registration, Login on the same portal and fill the remaining details.
• Upload all the required documents.
• Preview the Application Form and Click on Submit Button.
• Submitted Application Forms of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme will be scrutinized by District Social Welfare Officers.
• Monthly Old Age Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per month will be credited in the bank account of beneficiary after verification on quarterly basis.
• Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme Online.

Offline Application Process

• Old Age Beneficiary can also apply for Monthly Old Age Pension under Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme by filling Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme is available free of cost at District Social Welfare Department Office.
• Collect the Application Form and fill it.
• Attach all the required documents with the application form.
• Submit the Application Form of Uttarakhand Old Age Pension Scheme along with all the documents in Department of Social Welfare Office.
• District Social Welfare Officer will verify the received applications.
• After verification the monthly pension of Rs. 1,500/- per Month will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
