Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme is started by Uttarakhand Government for the welfare of Old Age Farmers/
• The main aim behind starting this farmer pension scheme is to provide financial assistance to those farmers who are still engage in agricultural activity but cross the age of 60 years.
• Uttarakhand Government's Department of Social Welfare is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme is also called "Uttarakhand Financial Assistance Scheme for Old Age Farmers" or "Uttarakhand Kisan Pension Yojana" or "Uttarakhand Farmer Old Age Pension Scheme".
• Monthly Financial Assistance will be provided by Uttarakhand Government to all eligible old age farmers of state.
• Farmers will get Pension of Rs. 1,200/- per month under Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme.
• Only those farmers are eligible who are still engage in agricultural activity and have maximum 2 hectare of land.
• Farmer Beneficiary should be belongs to BPL Category OR The Annual Family Income of Farmer should be less than Rs. 48,000/- per Year.
• Those farmers are eligible to apply for monthly pension whose age is 60 years or more.
• Both Online and Offline Application Procedure is available to apply for monthly pension under this scheme.
• Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme is available on 2 portals of Government of Uttarakhand :-
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
• Eligible Farmers can apply for monthly pension of Rs. 1,200/- on any of the above mentioned portals.
• Farmer can also apply through Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme which is available at District Social Welfare Office.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a Resident of Uttarakhand.
• Applicant should be a Farmer.
• The Age of Farmer should be 60 Years or More than 60 Years.
• The Annual Income of Farmer should not be more than Rs. 48,000/- OR Farmer should be belong to BPL Category.
• Farmer should have Maximum Land of 2 Hectare.

Online Application Process

• Old Age Farmers of Uttarakhand can apply for Monthly Financial Assistance as Pension by filling Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme.
• Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme Online Application Form is available at the following portals of Uttarakhand Government :-
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
• Registration is must for all the beneficiaries before filling the main application form.
• After Registration, Login on the portal and fill the main application form of Farmer Pension Scheme of Uttarakhand Government.
• Upload all the essential documents on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form and Submit Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form will be verified by District Social Welfare Officer.
• After due verification, the monthly pension of Rs. 1,200/- per month will be transferred in the bank account of farmer on quarterly basis.
• This means that farmer beneficiary will receive monthly pension once in a 4 month collectively.
• Beneficiary can also check their Status of Pension Application Online.

Offline Application Process

• Eligible Farmer Beneficiaries can apply for Monthly Farmer Pension through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme is available free of cost at Department of Social Welfare District Office.
• Take the Application Form from the office and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the documents with the Kisaan Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Submit the Uttarakhand Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form along with all the documents in District Office of Social Welfare Department.
• Officers of the Social Welfare Department District Office will verify the received pension application forms.
• Monthly Farmer Pension of Rs. 1,200/- will be credited in the bank account of beneficiary on quarterly basis i.e. once in a 4 month.
