Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Government of Uttarakhand started monthly financial assistance scheme called "Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme".
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those widows of Uttarakhand who doesn't have any stable source of income.
• Social Welfare Department of Government of Uttarakhand is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Uttarakhand Financial Assistance Scheme for Widows".
• Government of Uttarakhand will provide fixed monthly financial assistance to all eligible widow beneficiaries as a pension.
• Rs. 1,500/- per Month as a Monthly Pension will be provided to widow beneficiary under Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme.
• The Age of Widow Beneficiary should be between 18 Years to 60 Years.
• Widow Beneficiary should be belong to BPL Category OR The Annual Family Income of Widow should be less than Rs. 48,000/- per Year.
• Uttarakhand Government provides both Offline and Online Application Procedures to apply for monthly widow pension scheme.
• Widow Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension by filling Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme Online Application Form, which is available on 2 portals of Uttarakhand Government :-
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
• Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension on any of the above mentioned portal.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme is also available at District Social Welfare Office of Uttarakhand Government.

Benefits

• The following monthly financial assistance will be provided to widow beneficiaries under Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme :-
  • Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per Month.

Eligibility

• Widow should be a Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand.
• The Age of Widow should be between 18 Years to 60 Years.
• Widow should be belong or BPL Category OR The Annual Family Income of Widow should not be more than Rs. 48,000/-.

• Residence Proof or Domicile of Uttarakhand.
• Husband Death Certificate.
• Income Certificate.
• Aadhar Card.
• Age Proof.
• Copy of Family Register.
• Passport Size Photo.
• Bank Account Details.
• Mobile Number.

Online Application Process

• Widow Beneficiary will apply for monthly widow pension through Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme.
• Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme Online Application Form is available at any of the following portals of Uttarakhand Government :-
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
• Widow Beneficiary has Register herself first.
• After Registration, Login on the portal and fill the remaining details in widow pension application form.
• Upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Now, Click on submit button to submit the Application Form of Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme.
• Submitted Application Forms will be thoroughly verified by District Social Welfare Officer.
• Monthly Widow Pension of Rs. 1,500/- will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary after verification.
• Pension Amount will be provided once in a 4 month.
• Widow Beneficiary can also check their Application Status of Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme Online.

Offline Application Process

• Widow Beneficiary can also apply for Widow Pension under Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme is available at District Social Welfare Department Office.
• Take the Application Form and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the documents with the application form.
• Submit the Application Form of Widow Pension Scheme along with all the documents in Department of Social Welfare District Office.
• District Social Welfare Officer will scrutinized the received application forms.
• After due verification, the monthly widow pension of Rs. 1,500/- will be credited in the bank account of widow beneficiary.
