Introduction

• Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is the pre poll promise of Congress Party which they promised to fulfil if they form a Government in Karnataka.
• Now the Congress Party Government in Karnataka is going to fulfil its promise.
• Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is going to become a social boom for the welfare of unemployed youths of Karnataka State after its implementation.
• The main objective behind launching Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is to provide financial assistance as a monthly unemployment allowance to unemployed youths of Karnataka State.
• Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is also called :- "Karnataka Unemployment Assistance Scheme" in which monthly financial assistance will be given to unemployed youths.
• Under Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme, Government of Karnataka will provide below mentioned monthly financial assistance to unemployed youth of State :-

  Category	Amount of Assistance (Per Month)
  Graduate Youth	Rs. 3,000/-
  Diploma Holder Youth	Rs. 1,500/-

• This monthly financial assistance will be used by the youth to take care of the expenses incurred at the time of searching for employment.
• Permanent Residents and Educated but Unemployed Youth of Karnataka are eligible to avail the financial assistance under Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme.
• Unemployment Allowance under Yuva Nidhi Scheme of Karnataka Government will only be provided to Unemployed Youth for the time period of 2 Years.
• Unemployment Allowance will only provided for 2 years to eligible beneficiary.
• After 2 years or if beneficiary found employment within a period of 2 years then the unemployment allowance will be stopped immediately.
• Only Graduated Youth and Diploma Holders who are unemployed for a period of 180 days i.e. 6 months are eligible to get financial assistance under Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme.
• Youth who passed their graduation or diploma in the year 2022-2023 are only eligible to apply for monthly unemployment allowance under Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme.
• Benefits of Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme will only be provided to eligible beneficiaries from next year.

Benefits of Scheme

• The below mentioned benefits will be provided to eligible unemployed youth of Karnataka under Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme :-
  • Monthly Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 3,000/- per Month to Unemployed Graduated Youth.
  • Monthly Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 1,500/- per Month to Unemployed Diploma Holder Youth.

Eligibility

• Karnataka Government sets the following eligibility conditions in order to provide the monthly unemployment allowance under Yuva Nidhi Scheme :-
  • Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of Karnataka.
  • Applicant should be a Graduate or Diploma Holder.
  • Applicant should passed his/ her Graduation or Diploma in the year 2022-2023.
  • Applicant should be Unemployed for minimum 180 Days after the date of passing Graduation or Diploma.

Ineligibility

• Following are the ineligibility condition of Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme :-
  • Those Youth who continue his/ her higher education after passing graduation or diploma.
  • Beneficiary of Apprentice Wages.
  • Youth Employed in Government or Private Sector.
  • Self Employed Youth.
  • Beneficiary of Other Government's Financial Assistance Scheme.

Documents Required

• The following documents will be required to avail the benefit of Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of Karnataka.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • 10th Marksheet and Certificate.
  • 12th Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Graduation Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Diploma. (For Diploma Holders).
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Income Certificate.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Self Declaration.

Online Application Procedure of Yuva Nidhi Scheme

• Eligible Educated but Unemployed Youth of Karnataka can avail the benefit of unemployment allowance by filling the Online Application Form of Yuva Nidhi Scheme.
• Online Application Form of Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is available on Seva Sindhu Portal of Government of Karnataka.
• Unemployed Youth has to Register themselves first.
• Aadhar Card is mandatorily needed for Unemployment Allowance Registration.
• After Registration, Login in the same portal.
• After Login fill the below mentioned details step wise :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Educational Qualification Details.
  • Bank Account Details.
• Upload all the required document on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form of Yuva Nidhi Scheme and Click on Submit Button.
• Submitted Applications of Yuva Nidhi Scheme will scrutinised by the concerned officials.
• After scrutiny of applications, selected youths will get unemployment allowance for the period of 2 years.
• Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Yuva Nidhi Scheme by entering the Application ID.

Offline Application Procedure of Yuva Nidhi Scheme

• Eligible Youth can also apply for unemployment allowance under Yuva Nidhi Scheme by filling Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Karnataka Yuva Nidhi Scheme is available free of cost at the District Employment Exchange Office.
• Collect the Yuva Nidhi Scheme Application Form and Fill it Carefully.
• Attach all the needed documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Application Form of Yuva Nidhi Scheme along with all the documents in the office of District Employment Exchange.
• Received Applications of Yuva Nidhi Scheme will be forwarded for scrutinisation to the concerned officials.
• After verification of applications, the unemployment allowance of Rs. 3,000/- per month to Graduate Applicant and Rs. 1,500/- per month to Diploma Holder Applicant will be transferred in the given bank account.
