• The assembly election in Maharashtra is to be held on November 20, 2024.
• To form a government and dethroned the current Maha Yuti government, the main opposition party MVA has released its manifesto.
• To attract voters, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has announced 5 guarantees for the upcoming assembly election in Maharashtra.
• The Maha Vikas Aghadi party is a coalition of three parties; viz INC (Indian National Congress), NCP (National Congress Party), and Uddhav Thackeray Shiv Sena.
• The guarantees announced in the manifesto primarily target women, students, farmers, and others groups.
• Among these guarantees, one promise is to support the youth of Maharashtra, mainly unemployed youths through the "Yuvakanna Shabd Scheme".
• Under this scheme, the party pledges a monthly support of Rs 4,000/- for each unemployed youth across Maharashtra.

Eligibility Requirements

• To receive the financial support of Rs 4,000/- under the Yuvakanna Shabd Scheme, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the scheme notification : -
  • Applicants must be permanent and domiciled residents of Maharashtra.

  • Both male and female applicants can apply.
