• Earlier BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh Government started Chief Minister Ladli Behna Scheme in the State.
• In Chief Minister Ladli Behna Scheme, Government of Madhya Pradesh is providing monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month to Women of Madhya Pradesh aged between 23 Years to 60 Years.
• Lakhs of Women Registered under Chief Minister Ladli Behna Scheme.
• Now the date of assemble election in Madhya Pradesh is very near.
• Every National Party is trying to lure the voters with the help of pre poll promises.
• So in response to BJP Government's Chief Minister Ladli Behna Scheme in Madhya Pradesh, Congress Party announces Madhya Pradesh Nari Samman Yojana or the other name is Madhya Pradesh Nari Samman Scheme.
• It was announced by Ex- Chief Minister Sh. Kamalnath on 09-05-2023.
• This is very bold move by Congress to announce and start registration of Madhya Pradesh Nari Samman Yojana without having a government in the State.
• Registration for Madhya Pradesh Nari Samman Yojana is started and the activist and leaders of Congress Party will registered the eligible women beneficiaries by doing door to door campaigning.
• If Congress Party comes to power in next assembly election of Madhya Pradesh then the following benefits will be provided to registered women beneficiaries under Madhya Pradesh Nari Samman Yojana :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,500/- per Month.
  • Gas Cylinder at a cost of Rs. 500/- per Cylinder.
• Following Women of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to avail the benefit of Nari Samman Yojana :-
  • Married Women.
  • Divorcee Women.
  • Destitute Women.
