Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Finally, the state government started distribution of free scooty to meritorious students in Madhya Pradesh.
Students who passed their class 12th examination and secured the highest marks will be rewarded with the free scooty.
Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Girl Scooty Scheme in the budget of 2023-24.
Since its announcement, beneficiary students have been awaiting for scheme benefits.
Now, on February 5, 2025, newly appointed CM Shri Mohan Dr. Mohan Yadav started the distribution.
The scheme is also known by other names such as "Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Scooty Scheme" or "MP Mukhyamantri Free Scooty Yojana" or "Mukhyamantri Balika Balak Scooty Yojana".
The main objective of the scheme is to encourage meritorious students of the state for higher education.
Earlier, the scheme was meant for the girl child and was announced as 'Mukhyamantri Girls Scooty Scheme".
But now the government has renamed the scheme to 'Mukhyamantri Scooty Yojana" and has also distributed scooters to boys.
Free of Cost Scooty will be provided by Madhya Pradesh Government to the eligible students studying in government schools.
Around 7,900 students will receive free scooty under the MP Mukhyamantri Scooty Yojana.
Eligible beneficiaries who have registered for the scheme can check district wise list online at Vimarsh Portal.

The following benefits will be provided to students under the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Scooty Scheme :-
- Free Scooty to meritorious students of class 12.
- Both boys and girls are eligible for free scooty.
- Students must be a topper of their respective school.

The following eligibility has been set under the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Girl Scooty Scheme :-
- Girl as well as boys student of Madhya Pradesh.
- Students who secured highest marks in Class 12th.
- Students must be studied in MP Government school.

Meritorious students can apply for the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Girl Scooty scheme.
As the scheme registration process is not clearly stated anywhere.
It is expected that, School authorities are likely to submit the scheme application form on behalf of students.
If such is the process, Topper students need to reach out to their respective school regarding form submission.
Students must submit the requisite details with the school authority.
After receiving applications from the school authority, a list of eligible students will be prepared by the concerned authority.
