Scheme Introduction : A Brief Overview

• Haryana's newly appointed government has promised to implement a scheme during the recent assembly elections.
• After coming to power, the state government is now ready to launch the "Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana".
• The scheme pledges to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,100/- to each woman.
• The main objective of the scheme is to cater financial needs of the women, especially from disadvantaged groups and low income groups.
• It also promises to support state women financially, helping them to become self reliant.
• The assistance provided under the Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana will be credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account.
• The announced scheme is also known by other names; such as the "Haryana Laado Lakshmi scheme", or "Haryana Laado Laxmi Yojana".
• Beneficiaries who meet all eligibility conditions shared in the scheme guidelines will receive its benefits.
• However, when the scheme was announced, the government did not share any details related to it.
• It is expected that both married or unmarried women in the age bracket of 21 to 60 will be eligible.
• The Women and Child Development Department of Haryana will be the nodal authority of the scheme, to oversee its implementation.
• Although the scheme is not implemented, it is expected to be launched at the first cabinet meeting.
• Once the scheme is implemented, government or nodal authority will release the detailed guidelines.
• Furthermore, it is not clear whether the Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana application will be invited online or offline.
• If applications are accepted online, a dedicated portal for the scheme is likely to be developed.
• Otherwise, offline applications could be submitted through traditional modes; such as the Anganwadi centre, Municipal office, or Panchayat Centre.

Scheme Benefits

• The Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana aims to provide following benefits to beneficiaries : -
  • It provides financial assistance to all women.
  • Each beneficiary will receive a monthly assistance of Rs 2,100/-
    
  • Support will be credited to the beneficiary bank account directly through DBT transfer.

Eligibility Requirement

• Applicants must confirm their eligibility before submitting applications for Lado Lakshmi Yojana of Haryana. Financial assistance of Rs 2,100/- will be provided to those who meet the below mentioned conditions : -
  
  • Applicants must be married or unmarried women from Haryana.
  • Applicants must be domiciled residents of Haryana.
  • Applicants are likely to be in the age group of 21 and 60 years.
  • Applicants must belong to a low income group.
  • Other as shared in the scheme notification.

Ineligibility Criteria

• In case, applicant fall in any of the below mentioned category are not entitled to receive benefit under the scheme : -
  • If the applicant or any family members are central or State government employee.
  • If applicant receives similar benefits from other schemes.
  • If the applicant is paying income tax.
  • Other as specified in the scheme guidelines.

Required Documents

• Applicants must produce the following tentative documents when submitting applications for Lado Lakshmi Yojana : -
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Identity proof.
  • Ration Card (If any).
  • PAN Card.
  • Aadhaar link bank passbook.
  • Passport Size photograph.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Other documents as specified in the scheme guidelines.

Steps to Apply

• Applicants interested in the Haryana Laado Lakshmi Yojana must apply for it.
• The scheme was an election promise made by the BJP during the assembly election concluded on October 5, 2024.
• Now, following their victory, they will implement the scheme very soon after a cabinet meeting.
• Once the scheme is implemented, the state government will release detailed guidelines.
• These guidelines will share the scheme application procedure.
• Currently, we cannot presume, whether the Lado Lakshmi Scheme applications will be accepted through online or offline mode.
• In the case of online applications, it is anticipated that a dedicated online portal for Haryana Laado Laxmi Scheme will be developed.
• If the Lado Lakshmi Yojana application is invited offline, applicants can submit their respective applications from the Municipal office, Anganwadi Centre, or from Panchayat office.
• The application form for the Lado Lakshmi Yojana is expected to be free.
