Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• Bihar Cabinet gave the approval to launch one of the most prominent and employment generation scheme for the youth named "CM PRATIGYA Yojana".
• The full name of the scheme is "CM Promotion of Readiness, Awareness and Technical Insights for Guiding Youth Advancement".
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide short term employment opportunities to youth of Bihar so that they can utilise this experience to obtain gainful employment.
• Internship opportunity will be provided to all educated and eligible youth in famous and prestigious institutions under CM Pratigya Scheme.
• Class 12th, ITI/ Diploma and Graduation/ Post Graduation passed youth are eligible to apply for short term internship under Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana of Bihar Government.
• Along with internship, monthly stipend will also provided to selected interns.
• Class 12th passed interns will get Rs. 4,000/- per month, ITI/ Diploma passed interns will get Rs. 5,000/- per month and Graduation/ Post Graduation passed interns will get Rs. 6,000/- per month.
• For the year 2025-2026, 40 crore has been allocated for the smooth implementation of this scheme.
• Internship to 5,000 youths will be provided in the year 2025-2026.
• And for the next 5 years, 1 lakh youth will going to get internship under CM Pratigya Yojana.
• Official Guidelines of the scheme will be soon released by the government thereafter the application process will begin.
• Beneficiary Students can also check Central Government's "PM Internship Scheme".

Scheme Benefits

• Internship will be provided to selected students.
• Monthly Stipend will also provided to selected interns which are as follows :-
  • Rs. 4,000/- per month to Class 12th Passed.
  • Rs. 5,000/- per month to ITI/ Diploma Passed.
  • Rs. 6,000/- per month to Graduation/ Post Graduation Passed.

Eligibility Requirement

• Student should be a Permanent Resident of Bihar.
• The Age of Student should be between 18 year to 28 years.
• Student should have passed Class 12th, ITI/ Diploma, Graduation or Post Graduation.

Steps to Apply

• Bihar Cabinet gave its approval to launch CM Pratigya Yojana in Bihar on 1st of July 2025.
• At present the application process of this scheme is not clear yet.
• In the upcoming days, concerned department will draft the official guidelines of CM Pratigya Yojana and released it in public domain.
• CM Pratigya Yojana Application Process will be clear once the guidelines will be released by the government.
• The most probable chances is that, the mode of submission of application under CM Pratigya Yojana of Bihar Government is through online mode.
• Beneficiary Students of Bihar will have to wait little bit more in order to get the benefits of internship along with monthly stipend.
