  • The scheme is specifically designed for the farmers who engage in agricultural activities but do not own land and perform agricultural activities on leased land.
  • On the occasion of 76th Republic Day, the government launched the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme on 26 January 2025.

  • Land used by these landless farmers for agricultural purposes must be arable and registered on the Bhu bharati portal.
  • Authority will do some formalities to verify whether the land is cultivable or not.
  • Meanwhile, landless farmers worked for at least 20 days under the MGNREGS or NREGP are also eligible for the scheme.
  • Assigned department will select the beneficiaries from Natioanl Rural Employment Guarantee Program (NREGP) List.
