West Bengal Taposili Bandhu Scheme

Introduction

• West Bengal Government successfully run lots of welfare scheme in the State.
• Taposili Bandhu Scheme is also one of the major welfare scheme of West Bengal Government.
• It was started in the year 2020.
• The main objective behind launching Taposili Bandhu Scheme is to provide social security to old age people people belonging to schedule caste category.
• This is basically a pension scheme but it is only for the old age people belongs to schedule caste category.
• Taposili Bandhu Scheme is also called "West Bengal Old Age Pension Scheme for Schedule Caste People" or "West Bengal Schedule Caste Pension Scheme".
• Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,000/- per Month will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries under Taposili Bandhu Scheme.
• Age of Beneficiary should be 60 years or above and beneficiary should be belongs to Schedule Caste Category.
• West Bengal Taposili Bandhu Scheme is a sub scheme under Jai Bangla Scheme which is an umbrella scheme for all pension schemes of West Bengal Government.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can avail the benefit of monthly pension under Taposili Bandhu Scheme by filling an Application Form.

Benefits of Scheme

• The below mentioned benefits will be provided to eligible old age people who belongs to schedule caste category under West Bengal Taposili Bandhu Scheme :-
  • Monthly Old Age Pension of Rs. 1,000/- per Month will be Provided.

Eligibility Criteria

• The following eligibility conditions is set by the West Bengal Government for Taposili Bandhu Scheme :-
  • Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of West Bengal.
  • Applicant should be belong to Schedule Caste Category.
  • The Age of Applicant should be 60 Years or Above.
  • Applicant should not be a recipient of any other Pension Scheme.

Documents Required

• The below mentioned documents are required at the time of applying for old age pension under West Bengal Taposili Bandhu Scheme :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Digital Ration Card.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Voter Identity Card. (For Age Proof)
  • Mobile Number.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Passport Size Photograph.

How to Apply

• Eligible SC Beneficiary can apply for monthly old age pension by filling Application Form of Taposili Bandhu Scheme.
• Taposili Bandhu Scheme Application Form is available free of cost at below mentioned offices :-
  • Block Development Officer Office.
  • Sub Divisional Officer Office.
  • Kolkata Municipal Commissioner Office.
• Collect the Application Form of Taposili Bandhu Scheme and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Application Form of Taposili Bandhu Scheme along with all the documents in the same office form where it was collected.
• Application Form and Documents will be verified by the concerned officials.
• After verification, pension amount of Rs. 1,000/- per Month under Taposili Bandhu Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary on monthly basis.
