About The Scheme

• Jammu & Kashmir Sehat Health Insurance Scheme was launched in the year 2020. 
• The main aim behind the scheme is to extend health insurance coverage to all residents of Jammu and Kashmir UT.
• Free and cashless treatment in any public and private empanelled hospital across the country.
• Health Cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year on floater basis.
• More than 23000 public and private hospitals empanelled across the c
• SEHAT stands for Social, Endeavour for Health and Telemedicine. 
• It is a health insurance scheme for the Union Territory.
• No cap on family size or age.
• All residents of J&K shall be covered under ABPM-JAY SEHAT scheme
• The following benefits are provided under the Jammu and Kashmir Sehat Scheme :-
  • Health Cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year on floater basis.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Jammu and Kashmir Sehat Scheme :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
• All the beneficiaries are required to keep SEHAT card with them all the time.
• The beneficiaries are required to show these SEHAT Cards in the hospital in order to avail the benefit of this scheme.
• Eligible Persons Can Avail the benefits of J&K Sehat Health Insurance Scheme by applying in the following manner:-
  • Through Offline Application Form.

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Jammu and Kashmir Sehat Scheme :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir.

Documents Required

• Below is the list of documents that would be required at the time of registration under the scheme :-
  • Aadhar card.
  • Ration card.

Application Process

• Visit the hospitals that are registered under SEHAT Health Scheme or Common Service Center (CSC).
• Ask for the application form from there.
• Fill this application form by entering all the required information.
• After that, attach all the required documents.
• Submit this application form to the hospital or CSC Kendra.
• After verification, a card will be provided.
• Through this card, you can avail the benefit of SEHAT Health Scheme.
