Scheme Introduction

• On 28-06-2024, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Maharashtra Shri Ajit Pawar presents supplementary budget of government.
• He announced lots of welfare scheme for the needy people.
• He announced "Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme" which is going to be the major welfare scheme of Maharashtra.
• Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme is now officially launched by Maharashtra Government on 17-08-2024.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to make women of Maharashtra State financially independent and self reliant.
• Women and Child Development Department is the nodal department of this scheme.
• It is going to be known by some other names after its implementation such as "Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme" or "Mukhyamantri Mazhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" or "Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" or "Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana" or "Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme".
• Monetary assistance of Rs. 1,500/- on a monthly basis will be provided to all women of Maharashtra under Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• This financial assistance will help the women to improve their health and nutritional status.
• Only Married, Widowed, Divorced, Destitute, and Abandoned Women are eligible to apply for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• Women of age between 21 years to 65 years are eligible to apply under this scheme.
• Previously the age limit under Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme is 60 years but now Maharashtra Government extends it to 65 years.
• Those women whose family annual income is more than Rs. 2,50,000/- are not eligible.
• Government of Maharashtra allocate Rs. 46,000/- crore budget the proper implementation of this scheme.
• More than 2.5 crore women will get the benefit of Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• Women Beneficiary can apply from 1st of July 2024 for financial assistance under Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• If there is a single unmarried women in a family then she is also eligible to apply for financial assistance.
• The last date to apply for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Scheme was 15-07-2024.
• But this last date is revised by the Government, now the new last date to apply for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Scheme is 31-08-2024.
• Women Beneficiary can now apply under this scheme on or before 31st of August 2024.
• Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme Application Form can be downloaded from here.
• Women Beneficiary who are eligible can apply for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme through Online Application Form and through Offline Application Form.

• Government has launched a dedicated portal for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme, where applicants can get all the latest updates.
• From 17-08-2024, All Women Beneficiary of Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme is going to received its first amount.

Scheme Benefits

• All eligible women of Maharashtra will get the following benefits under Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme :-
  • Monthly Monetary Assistance will be provided.
  • Rs. 1,500/- per Month will be given to all women beneficiary.

DBT Amount Status Check of Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme

• Many women worried about how to check the mazhi ladki bahin scheme DBT Status as they didn't recieved the amount even after their application form is approved.
• But they don't have to worry about the payment.

Eligibility Requirements

• Women Beneficiaries needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to to get the benefit of per month monetary assistance under Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme :-

  Only Women Beneficiary are eligible. Beneficiary Women should be :- Unmarried Single Women in Family. Married. Abandoned. Divorced. Widowed. Destitute. The Age of Women Beneficiary should be between 21 years to 65 years. Beneficiary Women should have a Bank Account. The Family Annual Income of Women Beneficiary should be less than Rs. 2,50,000/-.

Problems Faced by Women

• Women Beneficiary is facing problems while applying online for Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme through Narishakti Doot App or through Official Website.
• There is no edit option available to edit the application form of Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme Application Form got rejected if filled in Marathi Language in Narishakti Doot App.
• Application Form is also rejected if any women beneficiary enter wrong bank account details.
• Other reason for the rejection of Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme Application Form is not uploading Hamipatra (Self Declaration)
• Some people also complaint that there Mobile Number is misused for Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme. They never apply but still they received the approval message.

How to Edit Application Form of Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme

• They will check the details and open the edit option in Narishakti Doot App.
• Beneficiary Women then edit their Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme Application Form, Correct the mistake and resubmit it for approval.
• After approval, the financial assistance of Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme will be transferred in the bank account.

Ineligibility Criteria of Scheme

• Ineligibility criteria sets by Maharashtra Government for Chief Minister Mazhi Ladki Bahin Scheme are as follows :-

  Annual Family Income is more that Rs. 2,50,000/-. Family member is a taxpayer. Family has four wheeler in home. (Tractors are exempted) Family member is pensioner. Family have more than 5 Acre of Land. Family member is a permanent or contractual employee of Central/ State/ Government or any Public Undertaking.
