Introduction

• After implementation of Goods and Services Tax in India, the revenue of Indian Government is increased from then.
• But in most part of India, Citizens didn't take or hesitate to take bill of purchase from the traders or shopkeepers.
• To encourage people to take GST Bills from Shopkeepers, Government of India take new initiative called "Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme".
• Indian Government is going to launch Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme on 1st of September 2023.
• This scheme is also known by some other name like : "Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Yojana" or My Bill My Right Scheme".
• Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme is going to implement initially in 3 States and 3 Union Territories as a pilot project which are :-
  • Haryana.
  • Assam.
  • Gujarat .
  • Dadar and Nagar Haveli.
  • Daman and Diu.
  • Puducherry.
• After that, Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme will further extended in other states also.
• Now Indian Government will provide cash prizes of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 1 Crore to some lucky winners selected through Lucky Draw.
• Government will select lucky winners under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme every month.
• 2 Bumper Prize of Rs. 1 Crore will be given to Winner Selected on National Level.
• Bumper Prize will be drawn quarterly.
• 10 Prize of Rs. 10,00,000/- each will be given to Winners from each State/ Union Territory.
• And 800 Prize of Rs. 10,000/- each will be given to Winners from each State/ Union Territory under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme.
• Lucky Draw of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme will be announced on 15th of every month.
• To win the prize in this scheme, Beneficiary only have to take a GST Bill on every time while purchasing the goods or availing the services.
• Now, Beneficiary has to upload that GST Bill on Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Portal or on Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Mobile App.
• Single Beneficiary can upload 25 GST Bills per month.
• On 15th of every month, a lucky draw will done to select the winners.
• Winners of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme will be intimated through SMS on their Mobile Phone.
• PAN is mandatory for selected winners in order to avail the cash prize under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme.
• Amount of prize will be directly transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.

Benefits of Scheme

• Selected Lucky Winners of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme will get the following prizes :-

  2 Bumper Prize of Rs. 1 Crore on National Level Winner. (Drawn Quarterly) 10 Prizes of Rs. 10,00,000/- per Prize for per State/ UT. (36) 800 Prizes of Rs. 10,000/- per Prize for per State/ UT. (36)

Eligibility

• The following eligibility conditions is set by Government of India in order to avail the benefit of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme :-

  Beneficiary should be a Indian Citizen. Beneficiary should have a Valid B2C GST Bill. The Amount of Invoice should be above Rs. 200/-. B2C GST Bill should have the following details :- GST Number of Supplier. Invoice Number. Tax Amount. Total Amount of Bill. Name of Recipient.

Documents Required

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of registration and at the time of availing the benefit of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme :-
  • Mobile Number. (Mandatory)
  • Any Government of India Issues Identity Proof.
  • Original GST Bill.
  • PAN Card.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Application Process of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme is very sweet and simple.
• Beneficiaries can upload their GST Bill through 2 modes.
• First mode is through Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme Official Portal.
• And the Second Mode is through Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme Mobile App.
• To upload bill through Official Portal of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme, Beneficiary has to visit the portal.
• Registration is must for every beneficiary.
• Following details will be needed to enter in Registration Form of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme :-
  • First Name.
  • Middle Name.
  • Last Name.
  • Mobile Number.
  • State Name.
• Click on Continue, Portal will verify the Beneficiary Number by sending OTP.
• Beneficiary will successfully registered under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme after OTP Verification.
• Login on the Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme with Registered Mobile Number.
• Portal will again check beneficiary mobile number through OTP Verification at the time of Login.
• After OTP Verification, the below mentioned window will open on the screen.
  
• Click on Upload Invoice to Upload the GST Bill on Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Portal.
• Beneficiary will upload a maximum of 25 GST Bills per month.
• Another method is to upload GST Bills through Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme Mobile App.
• Mobile App of Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme is available at Google Play Store as well as Apple Play Store.
• Download the Mobile App.
• The Registration Process is same as like Official Portal.
• After Registration, Login in the App and Upload the GST Bills under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme.
• The list of Lucky Winners under Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar Scheme will be released on 15th of every month.
