Introduction

• Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana is the flagship scheme of Government of Himachal Pradesh.
• It is started in the year 2023.
• The main objective behind launching Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana is to provide financial assistance as a subsidy to assist start ups.
• This will help the youths of Himachal Pradesh to generate employment for himself as well as for others.
• Under Himachal Pradesh Government's Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana, Government will provide 50% Subsidy on the purchase of below mentioned vehicles/ machinery/ equipments or setting up projects :-
  • E-Taxi.
  • E-Bus.
  • E-Truck.
  • Machinery and Equipment used in Dental Clinic.
  • Setting Up of 1 Mega Watt Solar Power Project.
  • Fisheries Project.
  • Any Other Employment Generation Activity.
• 50% Purchase Cost or Cost of Project will be borne by the Government of Himachal Pradesh and other half will be contributed by the applicant.
• Right now only this little amount of information is available regarding Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana.
• Guidelines and Application Form of Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana will be released soon by Himachal Pradesh Government.

Benefits

• The following benefits will be provide to eligible youth of Himachal Pradesh under Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana :-
  • 50% Subsidy on Purchase of E-Taxi.
  • 50% Subsidy on Purchase of E-Bus.
  • 50% Subsidy on Purchase of E-Truck.
  • 50% Subsidy on Purchase of Machinery and Equipments used in Dental Clinic.
  • 50% Subsidy on Setting Up of 1 Mega Watt Solar Power Project.
  • 50% Percent Subsidy on Fisheries Project.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• The Age of Applicant should be above 18 years.

Documents Required

• The following documents will be required to avail the benefit of Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana :-
  • Residence Proof of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Aadhar Card of Applicant.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Education Related Documents.
  • E Vehicle Purchased Related Documents.
  • Proposed Project Report.

How to Apply

• Eligible Beneficiaries can avail the benefits of 50% Subsidy by applying through Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana Application.
• Application Form of Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana is not yet released by Government of Himachal Pradesh.
