Assam Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme

Introduction

• Assam Government started Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme in the year 2005.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to facilitate those students who secure 1st division in Class 10th Examination.
• In the initial phase of this scheme, Assam Government provided free laptops or cash awards in lieu of laptops thats why the earlier name of this scheme was "Anundoram Borooah Cash cum Laptop Award Scheme".
• But now Assam Government is providing cash assistance to all meritorious students of class 10th under Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme.
• This scheme has some other names also such as "Anundoram Barooah Cash Award Scheme (ARBAS)" or "Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Yojana".
• Directorate of Secondary Education of Assam Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 16,000/- will be awarded to all eligible students under Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme.
• Only those students are eligible to apply for this cash award who secured 75% or more in the examination of Class 10th.
• Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme is open from 15-07-2024 and the last date to apply for this scheme is 25-07-2024.
• Students can apply through Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme Online Application Form which is available on Bidyarthi Portal.

Benefits of the Scheme

• Assam Government will provide the following benefits to all students who got 75% or above marks in Class 10th examination under Anundoram Boroaah Cash Award Scheme :-
  • One Time Financial Assistance will be provided.
  • Rs. 16,000/- Cash Award will be provided to all selected students.

Eligibility Criteria

• Cash Award of Rs. 15,000/- will be provided to those students who fulfil the following eligibility conditions of Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme :-
  • Student should be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
  • Student should have secured 75% or above marks in HSLC or High Madrassa Exam. (Class 10th)

• Documents that are going to be uploaded at the time of applying for cash award under Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme are mentioned below :-
  • Resident Proof of Assam.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • HSLC Documents.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Email.
  • Passport Size Photograph.

How to Apply

• Eligible Students can apply for Assam Government's Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme through Online Application Form which is available on Bidyarthi Portal.
• Student has to Register themselves first by entering the following details :-
  • HSLC Roll Number.
  • HSLC Number.
  • HSLC Registration Number.
  • Email ID.
  • Mobile Number.
    
• Mobile Number will be verified through OTP.
• Click on Submit Button after OTP verification to submit the Registration Form.
• User Name and Password will be sent on the mobile number of student.
• Login in the portal with the received user name and password.
  
• Fill the Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme Online Application Form carefully.
• Upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Click on Submit Button to submit the application form.
• Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme Application Form and Documents will be verified by the concerned officers of the Directorate of Secondary Education.
• List of selected students will be then made.
• Students selected for financial assistance under Anundoram Borooah Cash Award Scheme will be directly transferred in the bank account of student.
• Application Form is started from 15-07-2024 and the last date to apply is 25-07-2024.
