Delhi Disability Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Delhi Government successfully running 3 major pension scheme in whole of Union Territory.
• One of the major pension scheme of Delhi Government is Delhi Disability Pension Scheme.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those disabled persons of Delhi who doesn't have any stable source of monthly income.
• Department of Social Welfare of Government of Delhi is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Delhi Disability Pension is also called "Delhi Financial Assistance for Persons with Special Needs".
• Government of Delhi will provide monthly financial assistance as pension to all disabled person of Delhi.
• Rs. 2,500/- per Month as monthly pension will be provided to eligible persons under Delhi Disability Pension Scheme.
• Only those disbled persons eligible for monthly pension whose disability percentage is 40% or more.
• The yearly income of the disabled person family should be less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per year.
• Delhi Government added 21 categories of disability for disabled persons.
• Both Online and Offline Application Procedures is available for Delhi Residents in order to avail the benefit of Delhi Government's Disability Pension Scheme.
• Disabled Beneficiary can apply by filling Online Application Form of Delhi Disability Pension Scheme available at Delhi E District Portal and New Delhi Municipal Council Portal.

Benefits

• The below mentioned financial assistance as a monthly pension will be provided to all beneficiaries under Delhi Disability Pension Scheme :-
  • Monthly Pension of Rs. 2,500/- per Month to all Disabled Beneficiaries.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be Resident of Delhi for 5 Years.
• Applicant should have Disability of 40% or Above.
• The Age of Applicant should not be more than 60 Years.
• The Annual Family Income of Applicant should not be more than Rs. 1,00,000/- per Year.
• Applicant should not be a reciepant of any other Government Financial Assistance.

• Domicile or Residence Proof of Delhi for 5 Years.
• Document Related to Age Proof.
• Self Declaration or Income Certificate.
• BPL Card. (If Applicable)
• Aadhar Card.
• Disability Certificate.
• Passport Size Photo.
• Bank Account Details.
• Mobile Number.

Online Application Process

• Disabled Beneficiary can apply for Monthly Disabled Pension through Delhi Disability Pension Scheme Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Delhi Disability Pension Scheme is available at Delhi E District Portal.
• Beneficiary has to Register themselves first.
• For Registration having Aadhar Card is must for beneficiaries.
• Login on the same portal after registration.
• Choose Delhi Disability Pension Scheme from the Services Tab after Logging In.
• Fill the Online Application Form of Disability Pension Scheme and Upload all the required documents.
• Click on Submit Button to Submit the Delhi Disability Pension Scheme Online Application Form.
• Submitted Application of Disability Pension will be verified by District Social Welfare Officers.
• Monthly Pension of Rs. 2,500/- per Month will be transferred in the given bank account of beneficiary after verification.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can also apply for Delhi Disability Pension Scheme on the portal of New Delhi Municipal Council.

Offline Application Process

• Eligible Disable Residents of Delhi can also apply for Delhi Disability Pension Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Delhi Disability Pension Scheme is available free of cost at District Social Welfare Department Office.
• Collect the Application Form and Fill it Carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Application Form along with all the Documents in the office of Department of Social Welfare.
• District Social Welfare Officer will scrutinized the received application forms of Disability Pension Scheme.
• After due verification, the monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- under Delhi Disability Pension Scheme will be credited in the bank account of beneficiary.
