Introduction

  • Karnataka Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme is the welfare scheme of Karanataka Government for the welfare of pregnant women.
  • It was started in the year 2010.
  • Department of Women and Child Development of Karnataka is the nodal department of this scheme.
  • The meaning of the name of Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme is :-
    • Thayi Means :- Mother.
    • Bhagya Means :- Future.
    • Plus :- Extended Help.
  • This scheme targets the Pregnant Women of Karnataka State who deliver thier child in non empanelled private hospital.
  • The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to women to cover her delivery expenses.
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,000/- will be provided to women beneficiary under Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme.
  • This is the extended version of Thayi Bhagya Scheme in which Government of Karnataka will provide free of cost and cashless pre and post delivery services.
  • Karnataka Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme is for those pregnant women who want to avail the benefit of delivery services in non empanelled private hospital.
  • In Karnataka Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme only pregnant women belongs to BPL, Schedule Caste and Schedule Category are eligible.
  • Financial Assistance will only eligible to those women who deliver thier child in non empanelled private hospital.
  • Eligible Women can apply for this scheme through their ASHA Worker or Junior Female Health Assistant of her area.

Eligibility

  • Beneficiary Women should be Resident of Karnataka.
  • Following Women are eligible under Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme :-
    • Women who deliver her child in non empanelled private hospital.
    • Women belongs to BPL Category.
    • Women belongs to Schedule Caste/ Tribe Category.

Document Required

  • Following documents will be attached with Karnataka Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme Application Form :-
    • Residence Proof of Karnataka.
    • BPL Card or Ration Card.
    • Caste Certificate.
    • Aadhar Card.
    • ANC Registration Number.
    • Mobile Number.
    • Bank Details.

How to Apply

  • The only way to apply for Karnataka Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme is through ASHA Worker or Junior Female Health Officer.
  • Eligible Beneficiary can meet the ASHA Worker or Junior Female Health Officer of her area with the delivery record from private hospital.
  • ASHA Worker or Junior Family Health Officer will registered the women in Thayi Bhagya Plus Scheme and forwarded the application for further approval to department.
  • Once the application is verified, the financial assistance will be transferred in the bank account of the women beneficiary.

15th April 2023 registered RCH but still thayi card not given. I have been submitted required documents many times visit related govt primary heath centre there is junior sister rough talking not answer properly. Sister Name shila police head quarters dharwad primary heath centre
