Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program

Introduction

• The rate of unemployment is very high in India.
• Indian Government as well as State Government do their possible best to provide employment to unemployed youth.
• Government of Maharashtra also taken an initiative to boost the skills of youth by providing them a short term employment.
• Chief Minister Fellowship Program is playing a major role in the life of young people of Maharashtra.
• This program was started by Maharashtra Government in the year 2015.
• The main objective behind starting Chief Minister Fellowship Program is to increase the knowledge and nourish the skills of youth by providing them an opportunity to work closely with Maharashtra Government.
• Fellowship of 12 Months in Government Department will be provided to selected youths under Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program.
• Fellows will be get a position equivalent to Grade - A Officer during the period of fellowship.
• Apart from that the below mentioned perks and benefits will be provided to selected fellows :-
  • Stipend of Rs. 70,000/- per Month.
  • Additional 5,000/- per Month for Travel and Other Expenses.
  • Accidental Insurance Cover of 12 Months.
  • 8 Days of Casual Leave.
  • Special Academic Course Certificate from IIT Nagpur or IIT Mumbai.
  • Fellowship Certificate from Government of Maharashtra.
• Once the applicant completed the term of his/ her fellowship, the experience of fellowship will give them an upper hand on other candidates at the time when they applying for job in other place.
• An Official Identity Card and Official Email ID will also provided to fellows on temporary basis.
• Pervious Full Time Experience of 1 Year is mandatory for applicant.
• Full Time Internship, Article Ship, Apprenticeship in professional course or Full Time Self Employment and Entrepreneurship will also considered as experience under Chief Minister Fellowship Program.
• Applicant should know Marathi Language and should be able to read, write and speak fluently.
• Knowledge of English and Hindi is also required.
• Applicant will be selected for fellowship under Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program though Online Test, Esaay Writing and Interview.
• Eligible Applicant can apply for Chief Minister Fellowship Program by filling an Online Application Form.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following benefits will be provided to fellows/ selected applicants under Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program :-
  • Position Equivalent to Grade - A Officer will be Provided.
  • Monthly Stipend of Rs. 70,000/- per Month.
  • Rs. 5,000/- per Month separately will be provided for Travel and Other Expenses.
  • Accidental Insurance Cover.
  • Special Academic Course Certificate from IIT Mumbai or IIT Nagpur.
  • Fellowship Completion Certificate from Maharashtra Government.
  • Leave of 8 Days during the Period of Fellowship.

Syllabus and Structure of Online Test

• Primary Selection of Fellows under Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program will be based on Online Test.
• The Structure of Online Test of Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program are as follows :-

  Quantitative Aptitude.	Data Interpretation. Arithmetic. Algebra. Basic Geometry.

• Total Marks of Online Test Examination is 100.
• Selected Applicant in Online Test will have to write 3 Essays in any of Hindi, English and Marathi Language.
• Applicant shortlisted on the basis of essays will be called for interview.
• Candidates selected after Interview will be called for Fellowship under Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program.

Eligibility

• Appplicant should be a Permanent Resident of Maharashtra.
• Age of Applicant should be between 21 Years to 26 Years.
• Applicant should have minimum 1 Year of Experience.
• Applicant should have Passed Minimum Graduation with 60% Marks.
• Applicant should have Proficiency in Marathi , Hindi and English.
