Introduction
- Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme was started by Delhi Government in the year 2020.
- The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide security cover to registered advocates of Delhi from unforeseen circumstances.
- Delhi Government's Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs is the nodal department of this scheme.
- A Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 10,00,000/- will be provided to every registered advocate under Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme.
- This means that in case of untimely demise of an Advocate, Delhi Government will pay the financial support of Rs. 10,00,000/- to the deceased Advocate Family.
- Apart from Life Insurance Cover, a yearly medi claim of Rs. 5,00,000/- will also provided to Advocate, their spouse and 2 Children under Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme.
- There is an age limit for advocate's children under this scheme.
- Only those Advocates are eligible for Medi Claim whose children's age is not more than 25 Years.
- Advocates Practicing in Delhi, Registered with Bar Council of Delhi and a Electoral Voter of Delhi are only eligible to avail the benefit of Life Insurance and Medi Claim Benefit under Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme.
- Registered Advocates can also avail the facility of E Journals in all the District Courts of Delhi under this scheme.
- Beneficiary Advocates Family and Advocate can claim the insurance amount by applying to the concerned insurance company.
- All the Claims of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme is only entertained by the insurance company.
- Eligible Advocates can Register themselves under Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
- Online Application Form is available on Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme Portal of Delhi Government.

Eligibility
- Applicant should be a Practicing Advocate.
- Advocate should be Enroll in Bar Council of Delhi.
- Advocate should be a Voter of GNCT of Delhi.

- The following documents is needed at the time of applying for Delhi Government's Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme :-
- Delhi Bar Enrolment Certificate.
- Voter Identity Card.
- PAN Card.
- Passport Size Photo.
- Email ID.
How to Apply
- Eligible Advocates of Delhi can apply to avail the benefit of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
- Online Application Form of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme is available on Delhi Government's CMAWS Portal.
- Beneficiary Advocate has to Register themselves first by entering their Mobile Number and Aadhar Number.
- CMAWS Portal will verify the Mobile Number and Aadhar Number of Advocate through OTP Verification.
- After Successfull OTP Verification, the Registration Form of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme will open.
- Following Details will needed to be filled in the Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme Registration Form :-
- Name.
- Aadhar Number.
- Mobile Number.
- Email.
- Password.
- Confirm Password.
- Click on Register Button to Submit the Registration Form.
- Now Login on the CMAWS Portal with the help of Registered Email and Chosen Password.
- Fill the below mentioned personal details in Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme Application Form :-
- Name of Advocate.
- Photo of Advocate.
- Fathers Name.
- Marital Status.
- Date of Birth.
- Bar Council of Delhi Registration Number.
- Voter Identity Card Number.
- PAN Number.
- Address.
- Now Upload the Bar Council of Delhi Certificate, Voter Identity Card and PAN Card on the portal.
- Click on Next and Fill the Nominee Details.
- Preview the Application Form and then click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme.
- Concerned Authorities will verify the Bar Council of Delhi Registration Number and Voter Identity Card Number.
- After Registration, List of Selected and Rejected Advocates will be published on Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme Portal.
