Introduction

• Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme is the student welfare scheme of Odisha Government.
• It was started in the year 2017.
• Odisha Government's Department of Higher Education is the nodal department of Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to promote the Odia Language through providing financial assistance to meritorious students.
• Under Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Moham Bhasabruti Scheme, the one time financial assistance will be provided to eligible students.
• Rs. 20,000/- will be provided to eligible students under Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Scheme.
• Students who has Odia Honours as a subject in Graduation and in Post Graduation are eligible to apply under this scheme.
• Student should studying graduation in Art from any of the following educational institution are eligible to apply :-
  • Degree Colleges.
  • Autonomous Colleges.
  • State Universities.
  • Other State Universities.
• 60 percent marks in 12th class for graduation and 60 percent marks in graduation for post graduation is needed to apply under this scheme.
• The total number of seats available under Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme are as follows :-
  • 1200 for Graduation.
  • 300 for Post Graduation.
• Student studying their graduation through correspondence courses or distance learning are not eligible to apply.
• Student can apply for Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme online through Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Eligibility Conditions

• Students of Odisha.
• Student must secured 60% Marks in their Previous Qualifying Examination.
• Student should be in 1st year of his/her course.
• Must have Odia Honours Subject in Graduation. (For UG and PG Both).

The following one time financial assistance will be provided to students under Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme :-

How to Apply

• Students have to visit Odisha State Scholarship Portal to apply for Odisha Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme.
• Student have to Register themselves first.
• After Registration, Login in the Odisha State Scholarship Portal Again.
• Fill the personal details and educational details.
• Upload the required documents.
• And Submit the Form.
• Once submitted the application form and the documents are subject to verification.
• Verification will be done by the department officials.
• Once the application verified, the financial assistance will be transferred in the bank account of the student.
