Introduction

• Women is considered the backbone of any Family.
• From managing the household affairs to raising the children, Women is balancing all the things in her life beautifully.
• But most of the time they don't have any income stability of their own.
• So with an objective to provide minimum financial stability to Women and to maintain their standard of living Goa Government started financial assistance scheme for Women.
• The name of Scheme is "Griha Aadhar Scheme".
• Goa Government will now provide monthly financial assistance to all eligible women beneficiary of State.
• Directorate of Women and Child Development is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called as Griha Aadhar Yojana.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,500/- per Month will be provided to women beneficiary under Griha Aadhar Scheme of Government of Goa.
• Earlier the financial assistance provided under Griha Aadhar Scheme was Rs. 1,200/-.
• But from 01-09-2016, Goa Government increased the financial assistance provided under Griha Aadhar Scheme to Rs. 1,500/- per month.
• Women Beneficiaries eligible to get financial assistance under Griha Aadhar Scheme are as follows :-
  • Married Women.
  • Widow Women.
  • Divorcee Women.
• If the Annual Income of Women Beneficiary and Her Husband is more than Rs. 3,00,000/- per year then she is not eligible to avail the benefit under Griha Aadhar Scheme.
• Beneficiaries of Dayanand Social Security Scheme are also not eligible to apply.
• But Widow Women who is a beneficiary of Dayanand Social Security Scheme can apply under Griha Aadhar Scheme.
• Eligible Women Beneficiary can apply for per month financial assistance under Goa Government's Griha Aadhar Scheme through Online Application Form which is available on Goa Citizen Services Portal.
• Women Beneficiary can also apply through Offline Application Form of Griha Aadhar Scheme.
• Application Status of Griha Aadhar Scheme can be checked by entering Acknowledgement Number on Goa Online Citizen Services Portal.

Benefits of Scheme

• All Eligible Women Beneficiary will get the following monthly financial assistance under Griha Aadhar Scheme of Goa Government :-
  • Rs. 1,500/- per Month Financial Assistance.

Eligibility

• Government of Goa sets the below mentioned eligibility conditions for women beneficiary in order to avail the benefit of monthly financial assistance under Griha Aadhar Scheme :-

  Women Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Goa OR, Should be a Resident of Goa for Minimum 15 Years. The Age of Women Beneficiary should be more than 18 Years. The Annual Income of Women Beneficiary and Her Husband should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/- per Year. Women Beneficiary and Her Husband should not be a recipient of Dayanand Social Security Scheme. Below mentioned Women Beneficiary are Eligible for Monthly Financial Assistance :- Married Women. Widow Women. Divorcee Women.

Documents Required

• The following documents is required at the time of applying for financial assistance under Griha Aadhar Scheme of Goa Government :-
  • Domicile of Goa/ 15 Year of Resident Proof of Goa.
  • Marriage Certificate. (For Married Women)
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Husband Death Certificate. (For Widow Women)
  • Divorce Order. (For Divorce Women)
  • Verification Form.
  • Occupation and Income Declaration Form.
  • Life Certificate.
  • Email ID.
  • Mobile Number.

How to Apply

• Beneficiary Women can apply for per month financial assistance of Goa Government's Griha Aadhar Scheme through 2 ways :-
  1. Online Through Griha Aadhar Scheme Online Application Form.
  2. Offline Through Griha Aadhar Scheme Offline Application Form.

Online Application Procedure

• Women Beneficiary can apply for Goa Griha Aadhar Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Griha Aadhar Scheme is available on Goa Online Citizen Portal.
• Beneficiary Women has to Register Herself with the Help of Email ID and Mobile Number.
• Portal will verify the Mobile Number and Email ID through OTP Authentication.
• After OTP verification, Fill the basic details in the Registration Form of Griha Aadhar Scheme.
• After Registration, Beneficiary Women has to Login on the Goa Online Citizen Portal by entering Email ID and Choosen Password.
• Now Choose the Griha Aadhar Scheme from the services list.
• Fill the Online Application Form of Griha Aadhar Scheme carefully.
• Upload all the required documents as mentioned.
• Preview the Griha Aadhar Scheme Application Form and then Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
• Portal will then Generate the Acknowledgement Slip of Griha Aadhar Scheme.
• Take a Print Out of the Submitted Application Form for future reference.
• Women Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Griha Aadhar Scheme by entering the Acknowledgement Number.
• Submitted Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by the Directorate of Women and Child Development Officials.
• Then, List of Selected Women Beneficiary of Griha Aadhar Scheme will be released on the Official Website of Directorate of Women and Child Development.
• Selected Women under Goa Griha Aadhar Scheme will then received the per month financial assistance of Rs. 1,500/- in their given bank account.

Offline Application Procedure

• Beneficiary Women can also apply for per month financial assistance under Goa Griha Aadhar Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Griha Aadhar Scheme is available free of cost at the District Office of Directorate of Women and Child Development.
• Collect the Application Form and Fill it Correctly.
• Attach all the essentially required documents with the Griha Aadhar Scheme Application Form.
• Submit the Application Form and Documents in the same district office of Directorate of Women and Child Development of Goa Government.
• Concerned Officials of Directorate of Women and Child Development will verify the received application forms and documents.
• Selected Beneficiary List will Griha Aadhar Scheme will then uploaded on the Website of Directorate of Women and Child Development.
• Application Status of Goa Griha Aadhar Scheme can seen with the help of Acknowledgement Number on Goa Online Citizen Services Portal.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,500/- under Griha Aadhar Scheme will then directly transferred in the given bank account of Women Beneficiary.
