Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme

Introduction

• Knowledge about using a computer is essential in now a days.
• All the works is done in computer with effectively and efficiently.
• But lots of people is still deprived to take computer education due to their financial conditions.
• Government of Uttar Pradesh take a major step towards providing computer education to deprived and needy people.
• A new scheme called Free Computer Training Scheme is started in Uttar Pradesh.
• This scheme was launched in the year 2014.
• Uttar Pradesh Government's State Backward Welfare Department is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme for OBC Students" or Uttar Pradesh Computer Training Scheme for OBC Students".
• The main objective behind launching Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme is to boost the skills of youth by providing them computer education.
• This will help the youth of Uttar Pradesh to get employment easily.
• Uttar Pradesh Government will provide free of cost computer training to selected students under Free Computer Training Scheme.
• The setback of Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme is that it is not open for all category students.
• Students belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC) Category are only eligible to get free of cost computer education under this scheme.
• Free Computer Training will only availabe for 12th pass students.
• Computer Training will be provided for 'O' Level and 'CCC' Level Course.
• Duration of both the course under Free Computer Training Scheme are :-
  • 1 Year for 'O' Level Course.
  • 3 Months for 'CCC' Level Course.
• Student does not have to pay any fees for this computer course, Government of Uttar Pradesh pays fees directly to the computer institute.
• 75% Attendance is mandatorily needed to maintain by students during the time of computer course.
• Eligible Students can apply for free computer training by filling Online Application of Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following benefits will be provided to OBC Category Students under Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme :-
  • Free of Cost Computer Training will be provided.
  • Computer Training will be provided for 'O' Level and 'CCC' Level Course.
  • Duration of 'O' Level Computer Course will be 1 Year.
  • Duration of 'CCC' Level Computer Course will be 3 Months.
  • Certificate of Training after Completion of Course.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Applicant should be belong to Other Backward Class Category. (OBC)
• Applicant should have Passed Class 12th Examination.
• The Annual Family Income of Applicant should not be more than Rs. 1,00,000/- per Year.

• The following documents is required at the time of applying for Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme :-
  • Residence Proof or Domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • OBC Certificate.
  • Class 10th Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Class 12th Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Passport Size Photograph.
  • Mobile Number.

How to Apply

• Eligible OBC applicant of Uttar Pradesh can apply for Free Computer Training by filling an Online Application Form of Computer Training Scheme.
• The Online Application Form of Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme is available at Computer Training Scheme Portal.
• Applicant has to Register himself first on the portal.
• Aadhar Card is mandatory documents needed at the time of registration.
• After Registration, Login on the same portal with the received User Name and Password.
• Fill the Online Application Form of Uttar Pradesh Free Computer Training Scheme by filling below mentioned details :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Educational Qualification Details.
• Upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form and then Click on Submit Button to submit it.
• Applicant has to submit the Hard Copy of Application Form along with all the documents in the office of District Social Welfare Officer.
• District Social Welfare Officer will scrutinized the received application form of computer training scheme.
• Selected Student will be informed through SMS or Email.
• From July 17, 2023, Free of Cost Computer Training will be provided to selected OBC Candidates.
