Overview Of The Scheme
Name Of The Scheme Delhi Ladli Scheme
Launched on 01-01-2008.
Amount of Assistance Approx. Rs. 1,00,000/- after a maturity period gets over.

Mode of Applying

Introduction

  • Delhi Ladli Scheme is a flagship scheme of Government of Delhi for a girl child.
  • It is administered and governed by Department of Women and Child Development of Delhi Government.
  • It was launched on 1st of January, 2008.
  • The Scheme is a monetary assistance scheme for the girl child.
  • State Bank Life Insurance Corporation Limited (SBIL) is the Fund Manager of the scheme.
  • Financial assistance is provided to girl child in the form of term/fix deposit.
  • To avail the benefit of this scheme girl child should be registered within the period of 1 year of her birth.
  • After that, the benefit only available at 5 stage i.e.
    • When girl will take admission in class 1st.
    • When girl will take admission in class 6th.
    • When girl will take admission in class 9th.
    • when girl will take admission in class 10th.
    • And, when girl take admission in class 12th.
  • At every subsequent stage Delhi Government deposit Rs. 5,000/- in the name of registered girl child.
  • Girls registered by birth under this scheme get approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- when she completed her 10th or attain the age of 18 years.
  • Girls registered at the later stage will get only the amount fix for every stage of admission with appropriate interest.
  • Passing Class 10th is necessary to avail the benefit of this scheme.
  • The registration is subject to renew at every stage.

Objective

  • Objective behind launching this scheme is :-
    • Promoting education among the girls.
    • To promote birth registration of girl child.
    • To strengthen girl child economically and socially.

Distribution of Financial Assistance

Eligibility Conditions

  • Girl should be a resident of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
  • Time period of residence should be 3 years before the birth of a child.
  • Annual income should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum.
  • Birth of a girl child should be in Delhi.
  • Registration for Ladli is available within the 1 year for a new born girl child.
  • If the registration of a girl child is not done within 1 year of birth, then she can take the benefit at the school level.
  • Birth certificate issued by registrar (Birth & Death) is mandatory.
  • The Benefit of this scheme can be availed for only 2 girl children in a family.

When Applied at School Level
  • Aadhar Card of Father/Mother/Guardian.
  • Aadhar Card of Girl Child.
  • Birth Certificate of Girl Child.
  • Caste Certificate (If Applicable).
  • Joint Photograph of the Girl Child/Mother/Father/Guardian.
  • Resident proof of 3 years. Residence proof should be one of the following :-
    • Ration Card.
    • Voter ID Card.
    • Water Bill.
    • Electricity Bill.
    • Telephone Bill.
  • School Delaration Certificate (if Applicable).
  • Self Declaration/Income Certificate.
When Applied at the Time of Child Birth.
  • Aadhar Card of Father/Mother/Guardian.
  • Aadhar Card of Girl Child.
  • Birth Certificate of Girl Child.
  • Caste Certificate (If Applicable).
  • Joint Photograph of the Girl Child/Mother/Father/Guardian.
  • Resident proof of 3 years. Residence proof should be one of the following :-
    • Ration Card.
    • Voter ID Card.
    • Water Bill.
    • Electricity Bill.
    • Telephone Bill.
  • One Photograph of the Applicant.
  • Self Declaration/Income Certificate.

How to Apply for Delhi Ladli Scheme through Application Form

Stage of Applying Procedure to Apply
At the time of the birth of girl child.
  • Get the Application Form from your nearest district office.
  • Fill the Application Form.
  • Attach the requisite documents such as :- Residence proof, Income certificate, Birth Certificate, Group photo of parents with the girl child, Caste certificate (if applicant belongs to SC/ST/OBC), and Aadhar Card of parents and child.
  • Submit it to your nearest district office of Department of Women and Child development.
  • Documents should verified by District Office.
  • If no error were found in the Application form then it will forwarded to the SBI Life Insurance Corporation for maintaining the fund in the name of girl child.
  • It is mandatory to get the girl child registered within the 1 year of birth.
  • After maturity period got over i.e. when girl completed the age of 18 or passed class 10th, then she receive around Rs. 1,00,000/-.
At the time of taking admission in class 1st/6th/9th/10th/12th.
  • Get the Application Form from your nearest district office/government recognized school.
  • Fill the Application Form.
  • Attach the requisite documents such as :- Residence proof, Income certificate, Birth Certificate, Group photo of parents with the girl child, Caste certificate (if applicant belongs to SC/ST/OBC), and Aadhar Card of parents and child.
  • Get it approved from the principal office of the school where girl child studying.
  • Submit it to the nearest district office for verification.
  • Documents then verified by the District Office.
  • If no error were found in the Application form then it will forwarded to the SBI Life Insurance Corporation for for maintaining the fund in the name of girl child.

Delhi Ladli Scheme Online Application Procedure

Now the Applicant will apply for Delhi Ladli Scheme Online through Delhi Government's E District Portal :-

  • Go to the Delhi's E District Portal.
  • First Applicant has to Register Himself by clicking on New User.
  • Enter the Aadhar Number and Click on Verify.
  • After than a register form is appear, fill all the basic details and click on submit.
  • E District portal sends a username and password on the mobile phone of the applicant.
  • Now Login with the received user name and password.
  • Select Delhi Ladli Scheme in the Services tab.
  • Fill all the required details and upload the below mentioned documents :-
    • Residence Proof.
    • Income Certificate.
    • Birth Certificate.
    • Group Photo of Parents with the Girl Child.
    • Caste Certificate (if applicant belongs to SC/ST/OBC).
    • Aadhar Card of Parents and Child.
  • Now click on submit.
  • Applicant will recieve the registration or mother id on their mobile phone through SMS.
  • Application is subject to verification. Once verified, Applicant will be informed through SMS.

Maturity Claim Procedure

  • Girls registered under this scheme can claim for the amount only after passing 10th or 12th and when she attain the age of 18 years.
  • First, she have to open a Zero balance Account in any SBI branch.
  • Mandatory documents required to open the account are :-
    • 02 Passport size photographs
    • Receipt issued by SBI Life Insurance.
    • Any photo identity proof of the girl.
    • Any proof of residence
  • After account get opened, girl should contact the district officer of WCD with the following document :-
    • Original and Photocopy of the bank passbook.
    • Crossed blank cheque.
    • Original receipt issued by SBIL.
    • Proof of admission in school. (Marksheet of Class 10th or 12th.)
  • After verification of the documents, the amount will get deposited in her account.

मैं आपके साथ एक चिंता साझा करना चाहता हूं।

मेरी बेटी (जो बहरी और गूंगी है) सरकार में पढ़ती है। सेक। बधिर दक्षिण के लिए स्कूल, बी ब्लॉक कालकाजी। नई दिल्ली। पहले वह और उसके साथी स्कूली बसों में सफर करते थे, अब स्कूल ने बस सेवा बंद कर दी है। जिसके कारण सभी बच्चों को भारी सुरक्षा और सुरक्षा के मुद्दों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। चूंकि इन बच्चों को विशेष रूप से चुनौती दी जाती है और उन्हें किसी और से अधिक सेवा की आवश्यकता होती है।

मेरी बेटी सहित कई छात्राएं हैं, जिन्हें स्कूल से घर या घर से स्कूल की यात्रा करते समय विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है। बस सेवा को रोककर स्कूल ने उन सभी के लिए, खासकर छात्राओं के लिए एक बड़ा सुरक्षा मुद्दा उठाया है।

हमने प्राचार्य - श्री मक्खन सिंह के समक्ष यह चिंता व्यक्त की है। उनके अनुसार, सरकार ने बसें उपलब्ध कराना बंद कर दिया है, अब यह माता-पिता पर है कि वे अपने बच्चे की शिक्षा (जो विशेष रूप से विकलांग हैं) को जारी रखना चाहते हैं और स्कूल में दोपहर 1 बजे स्कूल छोड़ने के बाद छात्र के लिए स्कूल की कोई जिम्मेदारी नहीं है, और माता-पिता अपनी यात्रा की व्यवस्था स्वयं कर सकते हैं।
