Arunachal Pradesh Dulari Kanya Scheme

Introduction

• Dulari Kanya Scheme is the major welfare scheme of Arunachal Pradesh Government for the welfare of Girl Child.
• It was announced by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on 15th of August 2016.
• Then on 3rd of April 2017, Dulari Kanya Scheme was officially launched in whole of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Arunachal Pradesh's Department of Health and Family Welfare is the nodal deparment of this scheme.
• The main objective behind launching Dulari Kanya Scheme is to encourage people to give birth their child in hospitals.
• This scheme is also play very important role to prevent child marriages in the state.
• Under Dulari Kanya Scheme, Government of Arunachal Pradesh will provide financial assistance of Rs. 20,000/- for the birth of girl child.
• This amount of financial assistance will be in the form of fixed deposit which is in the name of girl child.
• When Girl attain the age of 18 years or passed 10th class then she will be eligible to claim the amount with interest under Dulari Kanya Scheme.
• Birth of a Girl Child should be in any Government Hospital or Government Recognised Private Hospital.
• Financial Assistance will be avail by only 2 Girl Child.
• Eligible beneficiaries can apply for Arunachal Pradesh Dulari Kanya Scheme through Application Form.

• Financial Assistance of Rs. 20,000/- will be given at the time of birth of a Girl Child.

Eligibility Conditions

• Residents of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Birth of a Girl Child should be in :-
  • Government Hospital.
  • Government Recognised Private Hospital.
• Only 2 Girl Child per Family are Eligible.

Documents Required

• Domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Birth Certificate of Girl Child.
• MCP Card.
• Delivery/ Discharge Certificate.
• Aadhar Card of Girl Child.
• Aadhar Card of Parents.
• Mobile Number.
• Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
• 2 Group Photos of Girl Child with Parents.

How to Apply

• Eligible beneficiaries can apply for Dulari Kanya Scheme through Application Form.
• Collect the Application Form of Dulari Kanya Scheme from the office of Medical Officer In Charge or Medical Superintendent of our area.
• Fill the Application Form and Attach all the required documents.
• Submit the Application Form in the same office.
• Medical Office Incharge or Medical Superintendent will verify the Application Form and all the Documents.
• After verification, if found correct then it will be forwared to the office of District Medical Officer for further process.
• Once verified by the office of District Medical Officer, the financial assistance will be transferred in the name of Girl Child as a fixed deposit.

How to Claim Maturity Amount Under Dulari Kanya Scheme

• Girl can claim her maturity amount of Dulari Kanya Scheme only after when she attain the age of 18 and pass minimum class 10th exam.
• Maturity Amount can be claim through Application Form.
• Application Form will be available free of cost in the office of District Medical Officer.
• Fill the Application Form properly.
• The following documents will be required to claim the maturity amount under Arunachal Pradesh Dulari Kanya Scheme :-
  • 10th Marksheet.
  • 10th Passing Certificate.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Self Declaration of being an Unmarried.
  • Bank Passbook First Page Copy.
  • Withdrawal Form.
• Submit the Duly Filled Application Form attached with all the required documents in the Office of District Medical Officer.
• Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by the concerned officer.
• Once the application accepted, financial amount will be handed over to beneficiary girl.
