Introduction

• The Doon School is the prestigious educational institution of India.
• It is situated in District Dehradun of State Uttarakhand.
• The Doon School was established in the year 1935 and was founded by Sh. S.R. Das.
• Sh. S.R Das was a lawyer from Calcutta and he also served as the Advocate General of Bengal.
• Every Student has a dream to study in the premier educational institution of country i.e. The Doon School.
• But due high education fees of The Doon School, most of the students kill their dream.
• At present the School Fee of The Doon School is :-
  • School Fee :- Rs. 11,20,000/- per Year.
  • Admission Fee :- Rs. 5,00,000/- (One Time Non- Refundable).
  • Security Deposit :- Rs. 5,50,000/- (One Time Refundable).
  • Incidental Expenses :- Rs. 25,000/- per Term.
• Now due to the efforts of the school, it is possible for the boy of low income family group to study in The Doon School.
• The Doon School started its reforming Scholarship Program to find exceptionally talented boys from all backgrounds across the country.
• Under The Doon School Scholarship Program, Free of Cost Education, Free of Cost Accommodation and Free of Cost Mess Facility will be provided to selected students.
• Students will be selected on the basis of Pre and Mains Entrance Examination.
• Pre Entrance Examination Date is 16th of July 2023 and Mains Entrance Examination is on 1st of October 2023.

• Students are eligible to get admission in Class 7th and Class 8th only.
• Syllabus of The Doon School Scholarship Program are as follows :-
  • Class 6th English and Mathematics for Class 7th Admission.
  • Class 7th English and Mathematics for Class 8th Admission.
  • Case Study and Reasoning.
• Mode of Entrance Examination is Online Mode and the Format is Multiple Choice Question based.
• 45 Minutes will be provided to students for each exam.
• The Doon School Scholarship Program is only for the Indian Resident.
• Scholarship from 20% to 120% will be provided to selected students as per their income criteria under The Doon School Scholarship Program.

Eligibility

• Student should be an Indian Citizen.
• Student should be a Boy.
• Student should be willing to take admission in any of the following class :-
  • 7th Class.
  • 8th Class.
• The Age of Student as on 30th September 2023 should be :-
  • 11 Years to 12 Years for Class 7th.
  • 12 Years to 13 Years for Class 8th.

Online Application Procedure of The Doon School Scholarship Program

• Eligible Beneficiaries can register the student for entrance examination of The Doon School Scholarship Program by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of The Doon School Scholarship Program is available on the Portal of The Doon School.
• Fill the below mentioned details in the registration form carefully :-
  • Student Details.
  • Father Details.
  • Mother Details.
• Pay the registration fees of Rs. 100/- online.
• Wait for the admit card of Pre Entrance Examination which is going to held on 16th of July 2023.
• Students who cleared the Pre Entrance Examination of The Doon School Scholarship Program will have to appear on the Mains Examination which is going to held on 1st of October 2023.
• Selected Students will receive the free of cost education in The Doon School.
