West Bengal Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme

Introduction

• Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme is the prominent scheme of West Bengal Government for the welfare of Farmers.
• It was launched in the year 2013.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers to purchase One Rickshaw or Vending Cart and 6 Perforated Poly Crates.
• Department of Agriculture Marketing of West Bengal Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• In this scheme, Amar Fasal means "My Crop" and Amar Gari means "My Vehicle".
• Under West Bengal Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme, Government of West Bengal will provide below mentioned financial assistance to Purchase One Rickshaw or Vending Card and 6 Perforated Poly Crates :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 10,000/-.
• The purchased rickshaw or vending cart and 6 perforated poly crates can be used by the farmers to transport their goods from storage structures to market.
• Beneficiary can purchase one rickshaw and 6 perforated poly crates or one vending card and 6 perforated poly crates under West Bengal Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme.
• This will help farmers to sell their crop produce to market timely.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can apply for financial assistance by filling Offline Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme.

• The following benefits will be provided to Farmers of West Bengal under Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 10,000/- to Purchase One Rickshaw or Vending Cart and 6 Poly Crates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Beneficiary should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Beneficiary should have a Cultivable Agricultural Land.
• Only below mentioned beneficiaries are eligible to apply :-
  • Small Farmers.
  • Marginal Farmers.
  • Farmers Interest Groups.
  • Self Help Groups.
  • Farmer Producer Organisations. (FPOs)

Documents Required

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of applying for financial assistance to purchase rickshaw or vending card under Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme of West Bengal Government :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Agriculture Land Details.
  • Kisan Credit Card.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• The only way to apply for Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme is by filling the Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme is available free of cost in the below mentioned offices :-
  • Block Assistant Agriculture Officer.
  • Village Panchayat Office.
• Fill the Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme.
• Attach all the required Documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme Application Form along with all the Documents in the same office.
• Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by the concerned officials.
• After Verification, financial assistance under Amar Fasal Amar Gari Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
