Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme

Introduction

• Govenment of Chhattisgarh started Unemployment Allowance Scheme to support unemployed youth of State.
• Chief Minister Sh. Bhupesh Baghel made an announcement to start Unemployment Allowance Scheme on 06-03-2023.
• Then from 01-04-2023, Unemployment Allowance Scheme of Chhattisgarh Government is implemented in whole of state.
• This scheme is also called "Chhattisgarh Berojgari Bhatta Yojana".
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial support to unemployed youth of state till they get an employment.
• Government of Chhattisgarh will provide financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month to all eligible unemployed youths under Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• Unemployed Youth of Age between 18 years to 35 years are only eligible to get the monthly allowance.
• Those Applicant's whose annual family income is more than Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum are not eligible to get monthly unemployment allowance under this scheme.
• Unemployment Allowance will only be given to beneficiaries till the time they get an employment.
• It is mandatory for all the applicant to be registered in their district employment exchange.
• The time of registered should be minimum 2 years old.
• Eligible Unemployed Youth can apply for monthly unemployment allowance by filling Online Application Form which is available on Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme Official Portal.

• Unemployed Youth of Chhattisgarh will get below mentioned monthly financial assistance under Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  • Monthly Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 2,500/-.

Eligibility

• Government of Chhattisgarh sets the following eligibility conditions in order to avail the benefit of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  • Applicant should be a Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Applicant should be Class 12th Passed and Unemployed.
  • The Annual Income of Applicant's Family should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/-.
  • Applicant should be Registered in Employment Exchange for 2 Years.
  • The Age of Applicant should be between 18 Years to 35 Years.

Ineligibility

• Unemployment Allowance will only payable to one member in a family.
• If a family member is receiving a pension of Rs. 10,000/- or more then those family are not eligible.
• There should be no Income Tax Payee in a Family.
• There should be no professional in a family like :-
  • Engineer.
  • Chartered Accountant.
  • Doctor.
  • Advocate etc.

Documents Required

• The following documents is mandatorily needed in order to avail the benefit of Unemployment Allowance of Chhattisgarh Government :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of Chhattisgarh.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Self Declaration of being a Unemployed.
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Class 12th Marksheet or Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Income Certificate.
  • Passport Size Photo.
  • Employment Registration Card or Number. (2 Year Old)

How to Apply

• Eligible Unemployed Applicant can apply for Unemployment Allowance of Chhattisgarh Government through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme is available on Online Portal.
• Beneficiaries has to Register themselves first on the Portal.
• Registration will be done through Mobile Number which will be verified by portal through OTP Authentication.
• User Name/ Login ID and Password will be generated by portal and sent it to the mobile number of beneficiary.
• Login on the Portal with the received Login ID and Password.
• Fill the personal details, education relation details along with all the other required details.
• Upload all the essential documents.
• Now click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• Submitted Application Form and Documents will be verified by the Officials of Directorate of Employment.
• Initially selected applicant will be called for documents verification in their nearest Gram Panchayat or Ward Office.
• After document verification, unemployment allowance amount will be credited in the bank account of beneficiary through DBT mode.
• Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme by Login in their account.
