Introduction

• Bhartiye Janta Party defeated Congress Party in Chhattisgarh assembly election.
• BJP formed the new Government in Chhattisgarh State.
• Every political party announced new-new scheme to woo the voters and secure their win at the time of election.
• Bhartiye Janta Party (BJP) had also announced lots of welfare scheme for the people of Chhattisgarh.
• Mahtari Vandan Scheme is also one of the pre poll promise of BJP in their election manifesto.
• BJP promises every women to start Mahtari Vandan Scheme as soon as they form the Government in Chhattisgarh after winning election.
• Now Bhartiye Janta Party wins the assembly election of Chhattisgarh and formed the Government So they are now fulfilling their promise to start Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Mahtari Vandan Scheme will going to be launched in Chhattisgarh from 1st March 2024.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to remove the financial difficulty of women and make them self reliant in terms of money so that they can improve the nutritional value of themselves and her children.
• This scheme is also going to be known by some other name such as "Chhattisgarh Mahtari Vandan Yojana".
• Department of Women and Child Development of Chhattisgarh Governmentis the nodal department of this scheme.
• Chhattisgarh Government will now provide the monthly financial assistance to women under Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Rs. 1,000/- per month financial assistance will be provided to all eligible women beneficiaries under Chhattisgarh Government's Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• This means that Women of Chhattisgarh will now get yearly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- under Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Women beneficiary can use this amount to manage their day to day expenses and they don't have to be depend on someone else for their financial requirement.
• Initially this scheme is for the Married Women of Chhattisgarh but Widow, Destitute and Divorcee Women are also eligible to apply for financial assistance under Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• The Age Limit set by Chhattisgarh Government for Women Beneficiary is 21 years.
• If a women beneficiaries age is below 21 years then she is not eligible to apply for financial assistance under Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Application under Mahtari Vandan Scheme is started.
• Official Website is also launched by Government to receive Online Application Application from women beneficiaries.
• Women Beneficiary can visit the Official Website of Mahtari Vandan Scheme and apply through Online Application Form.
• Application in Mahtari Vandan Scheme can also be done through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Mahtari Vandan Scheme is available at any Anganwadi Centre, Panchayat Office or Ward Office.

Benefits of Scheme

• Chhattisgarh Government will provide the following benefits to all Eligible Women Beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh under Mahtari Vandan Scheme :-
  • Monthly Financial Assistance will be Provided to all Eligible Women Beneficiaries.
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per Year will be provided to all Women Beneficiary.
  • Amount of Rs. 1,000/- per Month will be transferred in the bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• Women Beneficiaries who fulfilled the below mentioned eligibility conditions are eligible to avail the benefit of Rs. 1,000/- per month financial assistance under Mahtari Vandan Scheme of Government of Chhattisgarh :-
  • Beneficiary Women should be a Permanent Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Beneficiary Women should be Married, Divorcee, Widow or Destitute.
  • The Age of Women Beneficiary should be above 21 Years.
  • Women Family shouldn't have a Income Tax Payee Family Member.

Ineligibility Conditions

• If any women beneficiary falls within the ambit of any of the below mentioned category then she is not eligible to apply for Mahtari Vandan Scheme :-

• Eligible Women Beneficiary can apply for monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- under Mahtari Vandan Scheme of Chhattisgarh Government through 2 ways :-

  • Through Mahtari Vandan Scheme Offline Application Form.

Through Online Application Form

• Government of Chhattisgarh released the Official Website of Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Online Application Form of Mahtari Vandan Scheme is available on the Official Website.
• Visit the Mahtari Vandan Scheme Official Website in order to apply for the benefit of financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month.
• Click on Beneficiary Login.
• Fill the Mobile Number and Captcha in the Login Form of Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Mahtari Vandan Scheme Portal will verify the the Mobile Number of Women Beneficiary through OTP.
• Mahtari Vandan Scheme Online Application Form will open after the OTP verification.
• Fill the below mentioned mandatory information in Mahtari Vandan Online Application Form :-

• Preview the Online Application Form thoroughly and Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
• Concerned Officials of Women and Child Development Department will verify the received Application Form.
• Selected Women List of Mahtari Vandan Scheme will be published on the Official Website.
• Women Beneficiary whose name is in the selected beneficiary list will received per month financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- in their bank account as promised by Chhattisgarh Government under Mahtari Vandan Scheme.
• Application and Payment Status of Mahtari Vandan Scheme will be check on the Official Website.

Through Offline Application Form

• Women Beneficiary can also apply for Chhattisgarh Mahtari Vandan Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Mahtari Vandan Scheme will be available and collected free of cost at any of the below mentioned offices :-

  • Gram Panchayat Office.

• Department of Women and Child Development Department will then further scrutinised the Mahtari Vandan Scheme Application Form.
• List of Beneficiaries will be prepared and then uploaded on the Mahtari Vandan Yojana Website.
• Rs. 1,000/- per month financial assistance under Mahtari Vandan Scheme will then transferred in the bank account of beneficiary on monthly basis.
