Introduction

• In a recent time the constant increase of price of domestic gas cylinder hits the financial condition of every household in India.
• Despite of having PM Ujjwala Yojana, many household still not that financial sound to buy the gas cylinder on its actual price.
• States like Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are providing subsidy on the purchase of gas cylinder on their own level.
• Now to provide relief to people, Congress Party announced to start new scheme for the Women of Chhattisgah.
• The name of Scheme will be "Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana".
• This scheme will be going to known by some other names also which are :- "Chhattisgarh Free Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Gas Cylinder Refill Subsidy Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Scheme".
• Subsidy on Refill of Every Gas Cylinder will be provided under this scheme.
• Subsidy of Rs. 500/- on every Gas Cylinder Refill will be provided to all eligible Women Beneficiary under Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana.
• This means that Women Beneficiary will now have to pay Rs. 500/- less while purchasing the domestic gas cylinder.
• Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana is a DBT Scheme, Women Beneficiary will have to purchase the gas cylinder on its actual price and then the subsidy amount will directly transferred in the bank account of women.
• But this is only a pre poll promise of Congress Party for upcoming assembly election of Chhattisgarh.
• Mahtari Nyay Yojana will only going to implement in Chhattisgarh if Congress Party will win the election and forms government again.
• Women Beneficiary will have to wait little more to get Rs. 500/- subsidy on the purchase of Gas Cylinder under Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana and hopes that Congress Party will win the upcoming assembly election of Chhattisgarh.
• Remaining Eligibility Conditions and Official Guidelines of Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana will be released by the Congress ruled Chhattisgarh Government after wining the assembly election and forms the Government again.

Benefit

• Beneficiary Women will get the following benefits under Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana after Congress Party wins the upcoming assembly election and forms the government again :-
  • Subsidy will be Provided on Every Gas Cylinder Refill.
  • Subsidy of Rs. 500/- on Every Refill of Gas Cylinder.
  • Subsidy on Gas Cylinder will be Directly Credited in Women Bank Account.

Eligibility

• The below mentioned documents is needed at the time of applying for Subsidy on Gas Cylinder Refill under Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana after its implementation :-
  • Beneficiary Women should be a Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Beneficiary Women should have Gas Connection in her Name.
  • Remaining Eligibility Conditions will be released after scheme implementation.

• When Congress Party will launch the Chhattisgarh Mahtari Nyay Yojana after winning the assembly election, the following documents will be required at the time of applying for gas cylinder subsidy :-
  • Resident Proof of Chhattisgarh.
  • Ration Card.
  • Gas Connection Details.
  • Gas Connection Passbook.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Mobile Number.

How To Apply

• Very soon an assembly election is going to be held in Chhattisgarh and presently there is a Congress Party ruled Government.
