About The Scheme

• Chief Minister Vidya Scheme has been launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Department of School Education, Arunachal Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The Government of Arunachal Pradesh had launched Chief Minister Vidya Scheme in the year 2013-14.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Vidya Scheme :-
  • Applicant Must be a Resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Girls Students who have completed the fifth grade.
• The scheme aims at providing financial assistance/incentive to all girl students who successfully pass Class-V.
• The following main objectives of the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Education Scheme :-
  • To encourage girl children to continue school education after elementary and secondary levels.
  • To encourage the girls to increase their presence in schools.
  • And to reduce their dropout rate at the elementary and secondary stages of schooling.
• The following benefits are provided under the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Vidya Scheme :-
  • Girl child studying in Class VI is provided with an incentive of Rs.10,000/- as fixed deposit in the name of individual girl child.
  • After successful completion of Class XII, the Girl child is entitled to receive maturity mount of Fixed deposit.
• The amount so awarded will be deposited in the State Bank of India (SBI) in the name of the girl student as Fixed Deposit.
• Eligible Persons Can Avail the benefits of Chief Minister Vidya Scheme by applying in the following manner:-
  • Through Offline Application Form.

Benefits

• The following benefits are provided under the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Vidya Scheme :-
  • Girl child studying in Class VI is provided with an incentive of Rs.10,000/- as fixed deposit in the name of individual girl child.
  • After successful completion of Class XII, the Girl child is entitled to receive maturity mount of Fixed deposit

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Vidya Scheme :-
  • Applicant Must be a Resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Girls Students who have completed the fifth grade.

Documents Required

• Below is the list of documents that would be required at the time of registration under the scheme :-
  • Applicant girls class 5th Passing Certificate.
  • Proof of identity (Aadhar card and Identity card).
  • Permanent residence proof.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Bank details.
  • Passport size photograph.

Application Process

• To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant girl students will have to contact their Head of the school (principal).
• After this, the applicant will have to obtain the application form of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Vidya Scheme.
• Now fill all the information asked in the application form completely.
• Also attach all the necessary documents with the application form.
• After filling all the information, the application form has to be submitted.
• After the application is submitted, the application form will be verified by the concerned authority.
• After the approval of the application form, the applicant will be informed by the school.
