About The Scheme

• Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme has been launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Department of Animal Husbandry,Veterinary & Dairy Development is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The Chief Minister’s White Revolutions Scheme was approved in Budget announcement 2018-19.
• The total outlay for the scheme of Rs 750 lakh only to cater to milk production in potential 5 districts of the state.
• The following benefits are provided under the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme :-
  • 50% capital subsidy of up to Rs.3 lakh for a minimum of 2 cows
  • Kisan Credit Cards for working capital loans up to Rs.3 lakh per farmer
  • 25% top-up subsidies for cold storage, transportation, and bulk coolers
  • Procurement of cows by the District Dairy Development Committee, distribution to beneficiaries, and logistical and entrepreneurial support provided.
• Primary Objective of scheme is to boost milk production and rejuvenate Cooperative system in AMUL pattern.
• Primary Objective of scheme is to create subsistence means of livelihood for poor farmers.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme :-
  • Applicant Must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Dairy Farmers of the Stateas selected by District Dairy Development Committee.
  • Preference will be given to women and genuinely poor.
• Eligible Persons Can Avail the benefits of Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme by applying in the following manner:-
  • Through Offline Application Form.

Benefits

• 50% capital subsidy of up to Rs.3 lakh for a minimum unit of 2 cows.
• Kisan Credit Cards for working capital loans up to Rs.3 lakh per farmer, covering feed requirement,
  insurance, vaccines, and veterinary assistance for 3 months.
• 25% top-up subsidies for cold storage, transportation, bulk coolers, etc.
• 33% subsidy provided under DEDS of Govt. of India for successful dairy societies.
• One dairy subsidy scheme with 5 cows and special assistance for Dairy Entrepreneurship generation with 15 cows.
• Logistics amount directly transferred to farmer accounts.
• Progressive entrepreneurs are selected and given 1-2 milk yielding 9 milk cows (with 8-10 liters of milk production capacity per day) and 6 heifers.
• State Government will ensure 4% interest subsidy through NABARD to Apex Bank to provide loans at 0% interest rate to dairy farmers.
• Scheme also extends two kinds of support to the beneficiaries :-
  • One dairy subsidy scheme with 5 Cows.
  • Special assistance for Dairy Entrepreneurship generation with 15 Cows.
• The dairy cows will be procured by the District Dairy Development Committee and distributed to the selected beneficiaries.
• 3 milk cows (8-10 liters milk production capacity per day) and two heifers (preferably pregnant) will be given to the selected beneficiaries.

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme :-
  • Applicant Must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Dairy Farmers of the Stateas selected by District Dairy Development Committee.
  • Preference will be given to women and genuinely poor.

Documents Required

• Below is the list of documents that would be required at the time of registration under the scheme :-
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Permanent Resident Certificate.
  • BPL Card.
  • Application form and farmer details in the prescribed format.

Application Process

• To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant will have to contact the District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer .
• After this, the applicant will have to obtain the application form of Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme.
• Now fill all the information asked in the application form completely.
• Also attach all the necessary documents with the application form.
• After filling all the information, the application form has to be submitted to the District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer.
• After the application is submitted, the application form will be verified by the concerned officer.
• After the approval of the application form, the applicant will be informed.
