YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme

Introduction

• YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme is the flagship scheme of Andhra Pradesh Government for the welfare of Handloom Weavers.
• It was launched in the year 2019.
• The main objective behind launching YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme is to provide financial support to handloom weavers of Andhra Pradesh so that they can modernize their looms and equipments to compete with powerloom industry.
• Department of Handlooms & Textiles of Andhra Pradesh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Under YSR Nesthanna Nestham Scheme, Government of Andhra Pradesh provides financial assistance of Rs. 24,000/- per year to the eligible handloom weavers of State.
• They can use this financial assistance to upgrade their handlooms and equipment to higher level such as Double Jacquard, Jacquard Lifting Machine to increase the efficiency and productivity of their handloom work.
• Owning a Handloom is essential to get financial assistance under YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme.
• Handloom of Applicant should be registered with the Handloom Association.
• Till date Government of Andhra Pradesh provided financial assistance of Rs. 96,000/- to handloom weavers in a span of 3 years.
• Rs. 776.13 Crores is distributed by the government under YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme so far.
• Aadhar Card is compulsorily needed to apply for YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme.
• Eligible Handloom Weavers can apply Online by filling Online Application Form of YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme at Navasakam Beneficiary Managament Portal.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can also apply for YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme by visiting the office of Gram Ward Sachivalayam.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a Permanent Residents of Andhra Pradesh.
• Applicant Should be a Handloom Weaver.
• Applicant Should have own a Handloom.
• Handloom of Applicant Should be Registered with Handloom Association.
• Handloom Weaver Should belong to Below Poverty Line.

• The following financial assistance will provided to eligible handloom weavers under YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 24,000/- per year will be provided.

Documents Required

• Residence Proof/ Domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
• Aadhar Card Applicant.
• Passport Size Photograph of Applicant.
• Caste Certificate.
• Income Certificate or BPL Card.
• Bank Account Details.
• Registration Certificate of Handloom Business.
• Any One Age Proof :-
  • 10th Marksheet.
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Pension Card.

How to Apply

• Eligible Handloom Weavers can apply for yearly financial assistance under YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme online through Navasakam Beneficiary Management Portal.
• Beneficiary has to Login first.
• Select Citizen Login and Enter the Aadhar Number of Beneficiary.
• Navasakam Beneficiary Management Portal will verify the Aadhar Number of the beneficiary by OTP verification.
• After OTP verification, Beneficiary has to chose "YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme" from Citizen Scheme Application Tab.
• Beneficiary has to fill the personal details, contact details, bank account details and upload the required documents.
• Click on Submit Button to submit the Application Form of YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme.
• Submitted Application of YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme will be forwarded to Welfare and Education Assistant or Ward Welfare and Development Secretary for scrutiny.
• Field verification will also be done by the officials of Department of Handlooms & Textiles officials.
• Final approval on YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme Applications will be given by District Magistrate.
• Financial Assistance in of Rs. 24,000/- per year will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary every year.
• Eligible Handloom Weavers can also apply for YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme through offline by visiting the Gram Ward Sachivalyam Office.
