Name of the Scheme YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
Launched On 1 October 2022.
Launched by Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Benefits Financial Support for the Marriage of Muslim Girls.
Amount of Assistance Rs. 1,00,000/-.
Mode of Apply

Introduction

  • The scheme was launched by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.
  • The scheme is to give financial support to those who are not able to bear the expenses of marriage.
  • YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme will also prevent child marriage.as well as the dropout from the school.
  • Applicant belongs to Muslim Minority Community are eligible to apply under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
  • Applicant Can Apply under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme through :-
  • It is mandatory to apply under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme within 60 days of marriage.

Eligibility for YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme

  • Applicant should belong to Muslim Community.
  • Age Of Bride and Groom Should be :-
    • Bride :-18 Years completed.
    • Bride Groom :-21 years completed.
  • Bride or Groom must have passed class 10th.
  • Only 1st Marriage are eligible, Except in case of widow.
  • Marriage should be held on or after 01-10-2022.
  • Total Family Income of Bride and Bride Groom should be :-
    • Less than Rs. 10,000/- in Rural Areas.
    • Less than Rs. 12,000/- in Urban Areas.
  • Total Land Holding of Family of Bride and Bride Groom should be :-
    • Less than 3 Acre of Wet Land, OR
    • Less than 10 Acre of Dry Land, OR
    • Total 10 Acre, both Wet and Dry.
  • No person in a family should be a :-
    • Government Employee or Government Pensioner.
    • PSU Employee.
  • No Family Should own Four Wheeler.
  • Monthly Electricity Consumption should be below less than 300 Units.
  • No Family Member should be a Income Tax Payee.
  • Should Own less than 1000 Sq. Ft of Residential or Commercial Area.

Documents Required

  • Aadhar Number of the Bride and Groom.
  • Marriage Certificate.
  • Photo and Wedding Card.
  • Mobile Number of Both .
  • Email.
  • Birth Proof.
  • Cast Certificate.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Minority Certificate.
  • 10th Marksheet or Certificate.
  • Aadhar Card of Father /Mother /Guardian.

Amount of Assistance

  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lakh ) will be provided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the Marriage of Muslim Girls.

How to Apply

Online through Navasakam Beneficiary
Management Portal
  • Applicant has to visit Navasakam Beneficiary Management Portal to Apply for YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
  • Click on Login and Select Citizen Login.
  • Enter Your Aadhar Number and after that portal will verify it by sending OTP.
  • After Aadhar Verification new page will be opened, now select YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme from Services List.
  • Fill the Application Form thoroughly and upload all the required documents on the portal.
  • After Clicking on Submit, portal generated the Application Number.
  • Submitted Application will be forwarded to Welfare and Education Assistant or Ward Welfare Secretary.
  • Officials will then conduct the field verification and forward their report to Mandal Parishad Development Officer.
  • Mandal Parishad Development Officer verified the application and forward it to Project Director of District Rural Development Agency.
  • After that the final list of eligible and ineligible applicant will be published in all secretariat.
  • Eligible Applicant will receive the financial assistance in their bank account through Aadhar Enabled Payment System.
Offline through Application Form
  • Applicant can also apply for YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme through Application Form.
  • Application Form will be collected from the secretariat office.
  • Fill the Application Form thoroughly and attached the required documents with it.
  • Submit the Form with Documents in Secretariat Office.
  • The DA/WEDPS will upload the documents in the Navasakam Beneficiary Portal.
  • Submitted Application will be forwarded to Welfare and Education Assistant or Ward Welfare Secretary.
  • Officials will then conduct the field verfiication and forward their report to Mandal Parishad Development Officer.
  • Mandal Parishad Development Officer verified the application and forward it to Project Director of District Rural Development Agency.
  • After that the final list of eligible and ineligible applicant will be published in all secretariat.
  • Eligible Applicant will receive the financial assistance in their bank account through Aadhar Enabled Payment System.

Features of the Scheme

  • Income should be less then Rs. 10,000/- per month in Rural Area and Rs. 12,000/- per month in Urban Area .
  • Family of Applicant should not have 4 wheeler.
  • Taxis,Tractors, Autos are exempted under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
  • Field Verification done by Welfare Education Assistant or Ward Welfare Secretary are as follows :-
    • Visit Home of Bride Residence for Marriage Confirmation.
    • Verification through Neighbor.
    • Picture with Bride and Groom.
  • Consumption Of Monthly Electricity should be less then 300 units .
  • Widows are also eligible to apply under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
  • Marriage conducted after 01-10-2022 are eligible for financial assistance under YSR Shaadi Tohfa Scheme.
