Rajasthan Old Age Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme is the major social welfare scheme of Government of Rajasthan.
• It was started in the year 2023.
• The main objective behind starting Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme is to provide social security cover to old age people by providing them monthly financial assistance.
• Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also known by some other name in Rajasthan such as :- "Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Samman Pension Yojana" or "Rajasthan Old Age Pension Scheme".
• Government of Rajasthan will provide monthly financial assistance as a pension under Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Earlier the amount of old age pension is varies according to the age of beneficiary.
• Monthly pension of Rs. 750/- was provided to those beneficiaries whose age is below 75 years and Rs. 1,000/- was provided to those whose age is more than 75 years.
• But in the year 2023, Rajasthan Government revised the pension amount of Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Now each beneficiary irrespective of their age will get monthly pension of Rs. 1,000/- under Rajasthan Government's Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Age Limit fixed to get monthly pension under this scheme are as follows :-
  • 55 Years or Above for Women Applicant.
  • 58 Years or Above for Men Applicant.
• Those Applicants are not eligible for monthly pension under Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme whose Annual Family Income is more than Rs. 48,000/- per year.
• If any of the beneficiary falls within the ambit of any of the below mentioned category then they can claim the age relaxation for old age pension :-
  • BPL Family.
  • Antyodaya Card Holder Family.
  • Aastha Card Holders.
  • Family Belongs to Sahariya/ Kathaudi, and Khairwa.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can avail the benefit of monthly pension under Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form is available on Rajasthan SSO Portal.
• Apart from that, Eligible Applicant can also apply for Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme by visiting their nearest E Mitra Centre.

Benefits

• Rajasthan Government will provide the following financial assistance as monthly pension under Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme :-
  • Per Month Pension of Rs. 1,000/-.

Eligibility

• Government of Rajasthan sets the below mentioned eligibility conditions in order to avail the benefit of monthly pension under Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme of Rajasthan :-
  • Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
  • The Age of Women Beneficiary should be 55 Years or More.
  • The Age of Men Beneficiary should be 58 Years or More.
  • The Annual Family Income of Beneficiary should not be more than Rs. 48,000/-.

  • Jan Aadhar Card or Bhamashah Card.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Passport Size Photo.
  • Age Proof.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Applicant can apply for Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme of Rajasthan Government through 2 below mentioned ways :-
  • Through Rajasthan SSO Portal.
  • Through E Mitra Centre.

Through Rajasthan SSO Portal

• Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension under Rajasthan Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme of Rajasthan Government is available on Rajasthan Single Sign On (SSO) Portal.
• Beneficiary has to Register themselves first on SSO Portal.
• Having a Jan Aadhar Card is mandatory for Registration.
• SSO Portal will send the User Name and Password on the registered mobile number of beneficiary.
• Login in the Rajasthan SSO Portal with the help of received Username and Password.
• Choose RAJSSP after Login.
• Now Click on Rajasthan Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Fill the Personal, and Contact Details in the Online Application Form of Rajasthan Old Age Pension Scheme.
• Upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form and after that Click and Submit Button to Submit it.
• Submitted Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme Application Form along with all the documents will verified by Tehsildar or Nayab Tehsildar in Rural Area and By the Officials of Nagar Nigam or Nagar Palika in Urban Area.
• After Initial Verification, Application Form then forwarded to Sub Divisional Officer or Block Development Officer for sanctioning of pension.
• Per Month Pension of Rs. 1,000/- per month will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary after sanction.
• Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Rajasthan Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme on Rajasthan Social Security Pension Portal.

Through E Mitra Centre

• Eligible Beneficiary can also apply for pension under Rajasthan Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme by visiting their nearest E Mitra Centre.
• Visit the E Mitra Centre with Jan Aadhar Card.
• Agent present in the E Mitra Centre will fill the Application Form of Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme Online on behalf of Beneficiary.
• Beneficiary has to pay a nominal Application Fees of Rs. 33/-.
• Submitted Application Form will then verify by the Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar in Rural Area and by Officials of Nagar Nigam or Nagar Palika in Urban Area.
• Final Order of Pension Sanction will be given by Sub Divisional Officer or Block Development Officer.
