How to Apply Through Goa Laadli Laxmi Scheme Application Form.

Introduction

  • Goa Government started Laadli Laxmi Scheme on 06-07-2012.
  • The main objective behind starting this scheme is to change the perceptive of people about the girl child and support the girl child financially to make her self reliable and self dependent after attaining the majority.
  • Directorate of Women and Child Development of Government of Goa is the implementing agency of this scheme.
  • This scheme is also known by some other identical name such as "Goa Laadli Lakshmi Scheme" or "Goa Laadli Laxmi Yojana" or "Goa Laadli Lakshmi Yojana".
  • One Time Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided to all eligible girl beneficiaries under Laadli Laxmi Scheme.
  • Any Girl Beneficiary who completed 15 Years in Goa as a resident is eligible to apply for Laadli Laxmi Scheme.
  • Girl Beneficiary can claim the financial assistance of Goa Laadli Lakshmi Scheme at two below mentioned levels :-
    • One when she attained the age of 18 years.
    • And Second when the Girl Beneficiary is getting Married.
  • Financial Assistance provided at the time of attaining 18 Years of Age will be provided in the form of fixed deposit.
  • Girl Beneficiary can claim the Fixed Deposit Amount of Laadli Laxmi Scheme of Goa Government after attaining the Age of 18 Years in below mentioned circumstances :-
    • For Higher Studies.
    • For Starting Business.
    • For Pursuing any Profession.
    • At the Time of Marriage.
  • Fixed Deposit Account will be jointly opened in the name of Girl Beneficiary and Director of Women and Child Development Department.
  • Whereas Married Beneficiary will get Rs. 1,00,000/- in her bank account directly.
  • Those Beneficiaries whose Family Annual Income is more than Rs. 3,00,000/- are not eligible to avail the benefit of financial assistance under Laadli Laxmi Scheme of Goa Government.
  • It is mandatory to apply for Laadli Laxmi Scheme within 6 months of marriage.
  • For Married Beneficiary, the Age Limit is 19 Years to 45 Years.
  • Eligible Girl Beneficiary can apply for Laadli Laxmi Scheme by filling the Offline Application Form which is available at District Office of Directorate of Women and Child Development.

Benefits of Scheme

  • The following One Time Financial Assistance will be provided to all eligible Women Beneficiaries under Laadli Laxmi Scheme of Government of Goa :-
    • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be Provided.
    • Claim of Laadli Laxmi Scheme Amount will only applicable in the following case :-
      • When Girl Beneficiary get Married. (Age Limit is 19 Years to 45 Years)
      • When Girl Beneficiary attains the Age of 18 Years. (Fixed Deposit)
      • Unmarried Girl can only Claim the Amount when She got Married or To Do
        Business or For Further Studies. (Age Limit is 19 Years to 45 Years)

Eligibility

  • Government of Goa sets the below mentioned eligibility conditions for women beneficiaries in order to provide them the benefit of financial assistance under Laadli Laxmi Scheme :-
    • Women Beneficiary should be Born or Educated in Goa.
    • Women Beneficiary should be Residing in Goa for Last 15 Years.
    • Any One Parent of Women Beneficiary should be Born in Goa and Residing for Last 15 Years.
    • The Annual Income of Women Family should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/- per Year.

Documents Required

  • Documents that are required at the time of applying for financial assistance under Goa Laadli Laxmi Scheme are as follows :-
    • Birth Certificate.
    • 15 Years Residence Proof.
    • Passport Size Photo.
    • Aadhar Card.
    • Marriage Certificate. (For Married Women)
    • Any One Parent Resident Certificate.
    • Any One Parent Birth Certificate.
    • Self Declaration.
    • Income Certificate.
    • Bank Account Details.
    • Mobile Number.
    • Email ID.

How to Apply

  • Eligible Girl Beneficiary can apply for Laadli Laxmi Scheme of Goa Government through Offline Application Form.
  • Offline Application Form of Goa Laadli Laxmi Scheme is available at District Office of Women and Child Development Department.
  • Take the Application Form and Fill it Correctly and Carefully.
  • Attach all the required documents which is mentioned in Laadli Laxmi Scheme Application Form.
  • Now Submit the Application Form along with all the documents in the same district office from where the application form of laadli laxmi scheme was collected.
  • Officials of Department of Women and Child Development will scrutinised the received application form and documents.
  • List of Laadli Laxmi Scheme Beneficiary will then made by the department officials.
  • Selected Beneficiary will be informed through SMS or Email on their Mobile Phone.
  • Girl Beneficiary can also check their name in Laadli Laxmi Scheme Beneficiary List by visiting the Department's District Office.
  • Application Status of Goa Laadli Laxmi Scheme can also checked in the District Office of Women and Child Development Department.
  • After Final Approval, the Financial Assistance will directly paid in the bank account of Married Girl Beneficiary.
  • And Fixed Deposit of Rs. 1 Lakh will be created jointly in the name of Unmarried Girl Beneficiary and Director of Women and Child Development Department.

May I ask what banks are not approved to be given to credit the amount of Ladli Laksmi Scheme? Is it true that only Bank of India, SBI and HDFC bank can be given?
