Karnataka Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme

Introduction

• Karnataka Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme is the new scheme of Karnataka Government.
• It is going to be implemented from the year 2023-2024.
• The main objective behind starting Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme is to empower the Women of Karnataka economically to undertake self economic activities.
• Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Limited of Government of Karnataka is the implementing agency of this scheme.
• This scheme is also known by some other name like "Karnataka Shrama Shakthi Special Women Scheme" or "Karnataka Shramashakthi Women Loan Scheme".
• Government of Karnataka will provide a Collateral Free Loan of Rs. 50,000/- to all eligible women under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme.
• Women Beneficiary can utilise this loan amount to start various self employment generation activity such as :-
  • Starting a New Business.
  • Service Sector.
  • Small Scale Business.
  • Agro Based Activity.
  • Any Self Employment Generation Activity.
• Karnataka Government will also provide subsidy on these loans.
• Women Beneficiary will only have to return the half amount of this loan i.e. Rs. 25,000/-.
• The remaining half of Rs. 25,000/- will be paid by Karnataka Government as a Subsidy under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme.
• There is no collateral security needed to secure loan under Shrama Shakthi Special Women Scheme.
• Loan of Rs. 50,000/- under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme will only provided to Minority Community Women Beneficiary.
• Not all Women are eligible but Unmarried Women, Divorcee Women and Widow Women from the Age Group of 18 Years to 55 Years are eligible to get loan and subsidy under Shramshakthi Special Women Scheme.
• If the annual family income of Women Beneficiary is more than Rs. 3,50,000/- then she is not eligible to get loan under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme of Karnataka Government.
• The last date to apply for loan and subsidy under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme is 03-10-2023.
• Eligible Women Beneficiary can apply for Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme on or before 3rd of October 2023.
• Online Application Form of Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme is available on KMDCL Online Application Management Portal.

Benefits

• Government of Karnataka will provide the following benefits to Women Beneficiary under Karnataka Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme :-
  • Loan of Rs. 50,000/- will be Provided.
  • Women only need to repay Rs. 25,000/- to Bank.
  • Remaining Rs. 25,000/- will be Repaid by Government as a Subsidy.
  • No Collateral Security is Required to get Loan.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary Women should be Permanent Resident of Karnataka.
• The Age of Women Beneficiary should be between 18 Years to 55 Years.
• Women Beneficiary should be :-
  • Divorcee.
  • Widow.
  • Unmarried.
• The Annual Family Income of Women should be less than Rs. 3,50,000/-.
• Women Beneficiary should not have availed the benefit of any other KMDCL Scheme.
• Beneficiary Women should belongs to any one of the Minority Community :-
  • Muslims.
  • Parsis.
  • Jains.
  • Christians.
  • Sikhs.
  • Buddhism.

• The following documents is essentially needed at the time of applying for Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme of Karnataka Government :-
  • Residence Proof of Karnataka.
  • Project Report.
  • Minority Certificate.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Passport Size Photo.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Age Proof.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Self Declaration Form.

How to Apply

• Women Beneficiary belonging to Minority Community can apply for loan and subsidy under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Karnataka Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme is available on KMDCL Online Application Management Portal.
• Aadhar Card and Mobile Number is mandatorily needed at the time of apply.
• Enter the Mobile Number and Click on Submit Button.
• KMDCL Portal will Verify the Mobile Number through OTP and after that Enter Aadhar Card Number.
• Again KMDCL Portal verify the Aadhar Card Number of Women Beneficiary through OTP.
• Then Select Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme from scheme list.
• Click on Apply Online and Fill the below mentioned details in Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme Online Application Form :-
  • Women Beneficiary Details.
  • Project Report Details.
  • Details of Bank Account.
  • Upload the Documents.
  • Preview the Form.
• Check the Application Form thoroughly and then Click on Submit to Submit the Application Form of Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme.
• Application Form along with all the Documents will be verified by the selection panel.
• Selection Panel will make the final list of Eligible Women Beneficiary selected for loan subsidy under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme of Karnataka Government.
• List of Selected Beneficiary will forwarded then to bank/ financial institution for sanctioning of loan.
• Applicant can also check the Application Status of Karnataka Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme Online.
• KMDCL Online Application Management Portal is open for Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme till 03-10-2023.
• Eligible Women Beneficiary can apply for loan subsidy under Shramashakthi Special Women Scheme on or before 03-10-2023.
