Rajasthan Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program

Introduction

• Rajasthan Government started another major employment generation program in the State.
• Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program is going to be the major reform in terms of employment.
• It was launched in the year 2021.
• The main objective behind launching Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Internship Program is to develop young youths and nourish their skill by joining their hands with the Government Departments.
• Rajasthan Government's Department of Economics & Statistics is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This Program is also called as "Rajasthan Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Scheme".
• Government of Rajasthan will provide Internship to Educated Youths under Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program.
• The period of Internship will be minimum 6 months, which will be extended to maximum 2 years as per performance.
• Selected Interns will be called as "Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitras".
• The working criteria of selected interns under Rajasthan Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Internship Program is to aware the people of Rajasthan about Welfare Scheme of Rajasthan Government.
• Apart from that, Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitras will also help the people at various camps like Mehngai Rahat Camps or Indira Gandhi Smarphone Scheme Camps organised by Rajasthan Government.
• This program will help the people to get to know about the major welfare scheme of Government of Rajasthan at their door stops.
• Selection of Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitras will purely on merit basis.
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted to select Yuva Mitras under Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program.
• Preference in Selection will be given to those youth who has :-
  • Experience in Preparing the Social Media Content.
  • Have a Experience of Participating in NCC, NSS, Scouts, Social Work or Social Service.
  • Have a Well Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word and other computer skills.
• Certificate of being a Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitras will be provided at the end of internship period.
• Minimum Class 12th Passed Youth in the Age Group of 18 to 40 Year are eligible for internship under Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program.
• Initially there was a plan to recruit 2,000 Interns at a time but now Rajasthan Government will decide to recruit 5,000 Interns under Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program.
• Government of Rajasthan reserves the right to terminate the internship at any point of time in case of misconduct or misbehaviour or poor performance.
• Eligible Youth can apply for Internship and become Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitras by filling Online Application Form of Rajasthan Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program.

Benefits of Scheme

• Youths Selected as an intern under Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program will get the following benefits :-
  • Internship of 6 Months with Rajasthan Government will be Provided.
  • Certificate of being a Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra will also provided.
  • Internship Period will be Extended for Every 3 Month subject to performance of an Intern.
  • Maximum Time Period of Internship will be 2 Years.
  • Stipend. (As per the Discretion of Rajasthan Government).

Eligibility Conditions

• Government of Rajasthan sets the following eligibilty conditions for selecting interns under its Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program :-
  • Applicant Youth should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
  • The Age of Applicant should be between 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • The Minimum Educational Qualification of Applicant should be Class 12th.
  • Applicant should passed Class 12th as on 01-04-2023.
