Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana was launched by the Government of Rajasthan in 2015.
• The government's main aim behind launching this scheme is to improve the socio-economic status of unorganized workers of Agricultural Mandis by providing them with financial assistance.
• The Agricultural Department is the nodal department of this scheme, and the State Agricultural Marketing Board is the nodal agency of this scheme.
• Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana covers the labourers working at the Agricultural Mandi themselves and their whole family members.
• Only registered Hammals (Poters), Palledars, Tularas, and Labourers working at State Agriculture Mandis are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
• There are 4 types of assistance that will be provided under the Rajasthan Government's Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana.
• The first one is for female workers, for whom 45 days' wage loss will be compensated during pregnancy.
• Male workers can also claim the amount equivalent to 15 days of work under this scheme as a paternity leave.
• The government will also provide financial assistance for the marriage of a female worker, and the assistance amount is Rs. 75,000/-.
• Eligible workers can also claim for reimbursement of medical expenses up to Rs. 20,000/- in case of a grave illness like Cancer, Heart Attack, Liver or Kidney failure etc.
• The children of workers will also get a financial award under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana of the Rajasthan Government.
• Meritorious students of Class 10th, Class 12th, Graduation, and Post Graduation will receive one-time financial assistance from Rs. 2,000/- to Rs. 6,500/-.
• Online Application Form of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana is available on the RajKisan Portal and the Rajasthan SSO Portal.
• Beneficiaries can also contact the officials of the State Agricultural Marketing Board in case any help or assistance is required.

Eligibility Requirements

• Permanent Resident and Licensed Hammal, Palledars, Tulara are Eligible.
• Applicant should have Registered in Agricultural Market Committee. (AMC)
• Scholarship will be provided to Palledars, Hammal and Tulara Childrens.

Steps to Apply

• Eligible Beneficiaries can apply for Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana of Rajasthan Government through Single Sign On Portal.
• Visit the Portal and register yourself with you JanAadhaar Card or with Gmail Account.
• Portal will send the Username and Password to Email ID of Beneficiary Applicant.
• Login with username and password and search for RajKisan.
• Open the RajKisan Section and select Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana.
• Login with JanAadhaar Card or Bhamashah Card.
• Select the name of the family member and type of assistance required.
• Fill the online application form and upload all the asked documents.
• Review the filled details and submit it thereafter.
• Submitted Application Form will be forwarded to committee of Agricultural Marketing Board for approval.
• Once approved, the financial assistance as per applicant category will be transferred directly in the bank account.
• Beneficiary Application can also apply for Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana directly through RajKisan Portal or by visiting the nearby E Mitra Centre.
