Introduction

• The Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna was introduced by the Haryana government in 2008.
• The main aim of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and other disadvantaged categories.
• Due to a lack of funds, these students often struggle to complete their education.
• Under this scheme, the government provides scholarships to deserving students from Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, including Vimukt, Nomads, Semi-Nomads, Taparivas, and other marginalized groups in society.

Benefits of the Scheme

• Haryana government provide following benefits to the eligible beneficiary under the Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna :-
  • State government provides scholarships ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 to deserving students.
  • This scholarship is available to students from class 11 through post-graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Those who meet the following conditions will benefit under the Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna:-
  • Student must be a resident of Haryana.
  • Applicant's annual family income should not exceed Rs. 4,00,000/-.
  • Student should belong to Scheduled Caste/Backward Class/other category.
  • Selection will be made through merit basis.
  • To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have achieved the following percentage in their previous class:-

How to Apply

• There are two ways through which applicant can apply for the Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna:-
  • Online through the portal of Haryana Antyodaya SARAL.
  • Offline through the offline application of Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna.

Online Application Process

• For online application, beneficiaries can visit the Haryana Antyodaya SARAL Website.
• First, you must register on the Saral Haryana portal.
• For those already registered, they need to log in to the portal to apply for the scheme.
• To register as a new user, select "New User" from the homepage.
• Fill in all the required details in the registration form and submit it.
• Upon successful registration, the applicant will receive their login ID via SMS.
• Sign in using the received login details.
• Once signed in, select 'Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna'.
• Then, choose 'Apply online'.
• Fill out all the details correctly in the application form.
• Upload all the required documents and submit the application form.
• After submitting the application form, you will be notified through email or SMS.
• You can easily track your application online using the registration ID.

Offline Application Process

• For those who wants to apply offline for the scheme, they can visit the website of the Directorate of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare.
• From the homepage, navigate to the quick link section and click on the Application Forms link.
• Select the Haryana Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna from the list.
• Then, take a printout of the downloaded application form.
• Carefully fill out the application form and attach all required documents.
• Paste the latest photograph verified by the school principal.
• After completing these steps, submit the application form with attached documents to the department's office.
• Once the verification process is completed, benefits will be provided to the selected candidates.
