Haryana Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme

Introduction

• On the auspicious occassion of Hariyali Teej on 12th of August 2024, Chief Minister of Haryana gave a gift to women of state.
• He started much needed scheme for the welfare of women.
• The name of scheme is "Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme".
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide relief to women from rising LPG Gas prices.
• Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The other major names of this scheme are "Har Ghar Har Grahini Scheme" or "Har Ghar Har Grahni Yojana" or "Har Ghar Har Grihni Yojana".
• Government of Haryana will now provide domestic LPG Gas Cylinders at just Rs. 500/- to all women beneficiaries.
• Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme will definitely provide relief from rising LPG Cost.
• LPG Gas Cylinder at a cost of Rs. 500/- will not provided to all women beneficiaries.
• Only Antyodaya Families having Antyodaya Ration Card are eligible to get LPG Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500/- under Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme of Haryana Government.
• Women Beneficiary can avail the benefit of subsidy on 12 LPG gas cylinders in a year.
• Benefits of Har Ghar Har Grahini Scheme will only be provided to Prime Minister Ujjwala Scheme Beneficiary Women.
• Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme is a subsidy scheme in which women beneficiary will have to first purchase the cylinder at original price.
• Haryana Government then deduct Rs. 500/- from per cylinder price and transferred remaining amount in the bank account of women beneficiary.
• Reimbursement under Har Ghar Har Grahini Yojana will be done in the bank account of eldest female member of family.
• If there is no female member above the 18 years of age then money will be tranferred in the bank account of eldest male member.
• Let's take an example to understand better :-
  • Suppose the current price of LPG Gas Cylinder is Rs. 822/-, Women Beneficiary will have to pay the full amount to Gas Company at the time purchase i.e. Rs. 822/-.
  • Haryana Government will then deduct Rs. 500/- from it and reimburse Rs. 322/- as a subsidy under Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme.
  • Reimbursement will be directly transferred in the Bank Account of Beneficiary.
• Around 50 lakh Antyodaya Families will get the benefit of Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500/- under Har Ghar-Har Grihni Scheme.
• An estimated cost of Rs. 1500/- crore per year will going to spent by Haryana Government on this scheme.
• Beneficiary Women can apply Online for LPG Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500/- on Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme Website.
• Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) and Aadhar Card is mandatorily needed at time of registration.
• Complaint regarding Har Ghar Har Grahini Scheme can also filed through Online Portal.

Benefits of Scheme

• Women Beneficiaries belong to Antyodaya Family will get the below mentioned benefits under Haryana Government's Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme :-
  • Domestic LPG Gas Cylinder will be provided at Rs. 500/-.
  • Benefits can be taken for 12 Cylinders in a Year.

Eligibility Criteria

• LPG Gas Cylinder at subsidised rate of Rs. 500/- will only provided to those women beneficiaries who fulfil the following eligibility criteria of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme of Haryana Government :-
  • Women Beneficiary are Eligible to Apply.
  • Women should be a Beneficiary of PM Ujjwala Yojana.
  • Women Beneficiary should have Antyodaya Ration Card/ BPL Ration Card.
  • Women Beneficiary should have a Valid Domestic LPG Gas Connection.

Documents Required

• Women Beneficiary will have to upload the following documents on the Website of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme at the time of filling the Online Application Form :-
  • Antyodaya Ration Card.
  • Parivar Pehchan Patra. (Family ID)
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Gas Connection Book.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Beneficiary Women can avail the benefit of LPG Gas Cylinder in Rs. 500/- under Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme by applying through Online Application Form.
• Haryana Government launched the Official Website of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme for online applications.
  
• Women Beneficiary will have to visit the Official Website.
• Select Registration Form from Home Page.
  
• Enter your Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID).
  
• Fill the Captcha and Click on Send OTP.
• Website will verify the Family ID and fetch the details of family.
• Select the Women Family Member in whose name the gas connection number is.
• Fill the following information in the Registration Form of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Gas Connection Details.
  • Antyodaya Ration Card Details.
• Preview the filled details, fill the captcha and click on submit button to submit the Online Application Form of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme.
• Wesbite will allot the Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme Registration Number to Women Beneficiary.
• Concerned officials will verify all the received application forms.
• Women Selected for Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500/- will be informed through SMS on their registered mobile number.
• Subsidy Amount of Gas Cylinder after deducting Rs. 500/- will be transferred in the bank account of women beneficiary every time she purchased the LPG Gas Cylinder.
• Application Status of Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme can be seen with the help of Parivar Pehchan Patra.
