Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme

Introduction

• Own Your Auto Scheme is the prominent employment generation scheme of Telangana Government.
• It was launched in the year 2015.
• Minorities Department of Government of Telangana is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The main objective behind launching Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme is to support minority community youth to start their own income generation activity by providing them financial aid through subsidy.
• It is to be seen in many parts of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Area (GHMC) and Rangareddy District that many educated youth from minority community engage in plying Auto Rickshaws.
• Most of them doesn't own them, they only rented them to earn livelihood.
• Keeping these things in mind and after careful analysis of things, Telangana Government is providing 50% subsidy on purchasing of Three Wheeler Auto under Own Your Auto Scheme.
• There is also a facility of loan for remaining 50% amount of Three Wheeler.
• Subsidy will only be provided on the purchase of Three Wheeler having Three Seating Capacity which runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).
• Beneficiary can apply for subsidy under Own Your Auto Scheme on the purchase of below mentioned Auto Rickshaws :-

  TVS	TVS KING 4S CNG ELECTRIC START. TVS KING 4S LPG ELECTRIC START.
  PIAGGIO	APE CITY CNG (4 STROKE). APE CITY LPG (4 STROKE).

• Only Minority Community People who are in the age group of 21 Years to 55 Years are eligible for subsidy on purchase of Auto Rickshaw under Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme.
• Those youth are not eligible for subsidy on the purchase of Three Wheeler Auto Rickshaw whose Annual Family Income is more than Rs. 2,00,000/-.
• Interest Rate on loan will be applicable as per existing bank rate.
• Applicant should have valid three wheeler driving license at the time of applying for subsidy.
• Subsidy under Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme will only provided on CNG and LPG run Auto Rickshaws.
• Eligible Minority Beneficiary can apply for subsidy on the purchase of Three Wheeler Auto Rickshaw purchase by filling Online Application Form of Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme.

Benefits of Scheme

• Government of Telangana will provide the following benefits to people of Telangana under its Own Your Auto Scheme :-
  • Subsidy will be Provided on the Purchase of Three Wheeler Auto.
  • 50% Subsidy will be Provided on Actual Cost of Three Wheeler.
  • Remaining 50% will be Granted as Bank Loan.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant should be a Resident of Telangana.
• Applicant should be Residing in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Limit or Rangareddy District.
• Applicant should belong to any of the below mentioned Minority Community :-
  • Muslim.
  • Sikh.
  • Christian.
  • Jain.
  • Parsi.
  • Buddhist.
• Applicant should have a Valid Three Wheeler Driving License.
• The Age of Applicant should be between 21 Years to 55 Years.
• The Annual Family Income of Applicant should not be more than Rs. 2,00,000/- per Year.

Documents Required

• The following documents is required to be uploaded and attached with the Application Form of Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme :-

  Aadhar Card. Three Wheeler Driving License. Bank Account Details. 2 Passport Size Photo. Income Certificate. Any One Document for Residence Proof :- Ration Card. Aadhar Card. Voter Identity Card. Bank Passbook. Driving License.

How to Apply

• Eligible Beneficiaries can apply for subsidy on Three Wheeler under Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme through by filling Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme will be available at Telangana State Online Beneficiary Management & Monitoring System Portal.
• Applicant has to fill the Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme Online Application Form in below mentioned steps :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Choose the Type of Auto to be Purchased.
  • Upload the Documents.
• Now Click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form of Own Your Auto Scheme.
• Take a print out of application form and submit it along with all the documents in Branch Office of Minorities Finance Corporation.
• Concerned Officials will scrutinised the received application form and documents.
• After verification, application form for selected applicant will be forwarded to Transport Department for issuance of permit and to bank for granting of loan.
• Applicant will be intimated on their mobile phone regarding every step taken on their Telangana Own Your Auto Scheme Application Form.
