Introduction

• Tripura states major population's income is directly of indirectly depends on livestock farming.
• Livestock Farming is a type of farming in which families is engaged in a business of Milk, Meat and Egg.
• Livestock involved in livestock farming are :- Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep, Goat, Pig, Horse and Ponies, Mule and Donkey and Camel.
• So, with an objective to encourage and support livestock farmers financially in their business, Tripura Government started new financial assistance scheme for them.
• The name of scheme is "Tripura Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme".
• It was launched on 14th of December 2023.
• Animal Resources Development Department of Tripura Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also going to be known by some other major names in state such as "Tripura Chief Minister Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme" or "Tripura Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Yojana" or "Tripura Chief Minister Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Yojana".
• Government of Tripura will provide the financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- to every eligible livestock farmer under its Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme.
• All Livestock Farmers engaged in selling of Milk, Meat and Eggs produced from livestock population are eligible to get financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- under this scheme.
• Eligible Livestock Farmers can apply for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme through Application Form.
• Application Form of Tripura Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme can be collected from District Office of Animal Resources Development Department.

Benefits of Scheme

• Benefits provided to Livestock Farmers of Tripura under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme are as follows :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 6,000/- will be provided to all Eligible Livestock Farmers.

Eligibility

• Tripura Government sets the following eligibility conditions in order to provide the financial assistance to beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme :-
  • Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Tripura.
  • Beneficiary should be a Livestock Farmer.

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of applying for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme of Government of Tripura :-
  • Residence Proof of Tripura.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Livestock Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Livestock Farmers can apply for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme through Application Form.
• Application Form of Tripura Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme is available free of cost at District Office of Animal Resources Development Department.
• Collect the Application Form from District Office and Fill it Carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Now Submit the Tripura Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme Application Form along with all the documents in the same Animal Resources Development Department District Office.
• Department Officials will verify the recieved application form and documents.
• Then List of Selected Livestock Farmers under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Scheme will be made by the department.
• Selected Farmers will be informed through SMS on their Mobile Phone.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 6,000/- as promised by the Tripura Government under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samma Nidhi Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of livestock farmer.
